City of Hope Corona

If you decide to choose City of Hope Corona you should stay away from Dr. Polineni. My mom was a patient of his for two years. She had cervical cancer. She died. She was in and out of the hospital since July 2024. He would review her CT scans and never give her an update on her diagnosis. He was a coward in my opinion. It wasn’t until we took her to City of Hope Duarte where she got her final diagnosis. She had stage 4 cancer and there was no hope. The coward was able to say that on a phone call that she only had 4-6 months to live. This was in September. She died 3 weeks later. I wrote this in hopes that people read reviews on drs. and stay away from the coward/dr. who lacked sharing information to their patient.

I've been going here getting treated for over 2 years, and this place is amazing. Stephanie hernandez, Dana, denice, Gilmore, Mandolin, Carmen, and anyone else I left out have been so compassionate. I love the care I receive here and the way they make you feel like a human being, not just a diagnosis.

When I was first diagnosed it was the scariest thing of my life. I was referred to City of Hope Corona and the first time I met Dr Gilmore he was so kind and took his time explaining everything to me. Before my Chemo started I had the pleasure of meeting Denise who I now consider a true friend. She always knows what to say to lift me up as well as every nurse and the incredibly kind women in the front that I check in with. Being a patient with City of Hope has made this journey possible to feel like I'm going to be alright. The time and love they pour into their patients is endless. I am truly grateful for ALL the staff at City of Hope. Thank You for everything 💕🌸

Found the doctor from my insurance net, just need a doctor office appointment but being tricked to the hospital, end up being charged for facility fee. A simple 10-minute office visit charges me a bill of almost $500 after insurance coverage and co-pay. When I called, they tricked again by saying deductible of my insurance, which is PPO and just needs co-pay for an office visit. Be careful of this place!

I have been going here for radiation last year and could not have come to a more caring and comforting place. Kim and Ann in radiation were amazing and Dr. Mandolin is in a class of his own. He takes all the time in the world for his patients and makes sure he gets to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Dr. Mandolin is by far the best and I wish I could give him more than 5 stars!!!
