Went for a strep test. They got a bunch of unnecessary tests run that my (very good) insurance won’t cover. Now I got a bill for $1800 for what was a cold. They also were sketchy about follow up calls, and their portal to look at my results didn’t even work. Go to the City MD nearby instead. The staff were genuinely nice, but what happened is inexcusable

Good experience with the visit. Then, I got hit with a $2,175.00 bill for strep/covid/flu tests that should have 100% covered. The $300 doctor visit was covered as "in network" but they sent the lab work to an "out of network" lab that my insurance will not cover. Who does that? My Cigna rep is on the case and is going to dispute it but be warned!!

Worst experience with walk in clinic. Dr. on call had a terrible patient treatment (bedside) manner, announced that nothing could be done which is fine if he believes so but then went on to say my Dr at NYU was WRONG and that he would not practice “bad medicine.” I don’t mind following what is recommended by a medical professional and readily accept what a Dr. advises, but as a working professional and college professor, it is not ok to be scolded. I honestly felt like I had done something am wrong and he was talking down to me. Both condescending and accusatory. Will be avoiding future visits at all costs

Used Chai Urgent Care's website to book an appointment at their location in Greenpoint for my partner. Gave partner's contact info for the booking, and they received an email confirmation for the appointment. However, when we arrived on time, the location was closed. Wasted trip. Go up the street to CityMD Greenpoint Urgent Care instead.

One star because the girls at front desk were lovely. But the doctor was awful. I had a positive home covid test and symptoms. But the office rapid was negative. He refused to do a pcr and sent me away. Told me to go back to work. I teach preschool. Made me feel like I was imagining my symptoms. I went to city MD and got a positive pcr test. My mother has cancer! I could have given her or my tiny students covid. Because of his neglect. Shameful.
