El portal imaging

Do Not go there . I went there with my mom and Tamika the receptionist on the second floor asked me when was my mom’s last mammogram which my mom didn’t recall since she is suffering from memory issues. My mom’s primary doctor called us previously and made sure that it was over a year and it is time to get her mammogram but we didn’t have the exact date. So I told Tamika that her doctor usually make sure before sending in the order. She said, doctors don’t check before they send in the order” . What kind of doctor sends in the order before making sure if they are due or not , so the patient doesn’t have to pay out of pocket? She clearly doesn’t know how doctors offices work and how can she assume that doctors send in the orders without checking if patient is due for an exam ? The way she was talking was way too rude to handle business. I got so much negative vibes there. The changing room smelled so bad since there were so many used gowns in the bin. This was the first time I came in with my mom and her primary doctor sent in another order for CT scans which I will be canceling and making appointment somewhere else. Tamika also has several other negative reviews. She’s gotta go! Very bad for the business.

My experience with El Portal Imaging on Yosemite was wonderful! The radiology tech was excellent. She was very caring and so helpful since I was not too mobil. I don't know her name but really appreciated her help. Thank you!!

The receptionist at the Yosemite location was rude. I was told by my doctor that x-rays were walk in only. So i googled and saw that they open 7. I get there and there's other patients there too. We go in and get to the second floor and it's 7:08am and no one at reception. The other patient says to me "they open at 7 right?" I said yea that's what google says. The receptionist walks in at 7:10 and makes a comment rudely "there no one up here you guys shouldn't be in here" she gets to her desk and her co worker says something like I can start checking them in and she says to her co worker "no, they can wait til we're open" I said oh it says you guys open at 7 online to which she responds "yea the building does!!! We don't start checking in patients until 7:15 don't take the first patient until 7:30 and if you're here for an X-ray we won't call you back til 7:45" i said oh ok that information would be helpful online and she says "yeah i know" other than that the x-ray tech and staff were very nice, but the receptionist has poor customer service skills. Looking at yelp reviews it looks like Tamika (receptionist) has gotten SEVERAL negative reviews. Clearly nothing is being done about it. Any future imaging needs i will ask my Dr. to send me somewhere else!

Alicia on Yosemite imaging Center Awesome and well professional job. Had to do an ultrasound on me (MALE) I just came from work dirty and hairy belly I accidentally let some gas ⛽️ 💨 and she did not complain or budge ;)(TacoBell) very professional Please let this wonderful Nurse receive a great compensation on behalf of the patients.(RAISE)$$$$ Thank you

I went in for an X-Ray and chose not to stay because of how unpleasant the woman working the front desk was. The two women behind her seemed nice but the woman in the front seemed like she would rather be anywhere else. I think this company would really benefit from putting her in the back somewhere so that patients never have to deal with her and feel the way I felt today for no reason at all.
