2 months agoI have had mixed experiences here. At times, it is organised and quick (and I must say my experience with the nurses and doctors has always been great). However, the waiting line system is terrible. I am writing this review as I am sitting here, waiting for over an hour. The hour would not be a problem if it was truly crowded - but, while checking my status updates through SMS, I am being told that there is no one ahead of me in line for the last 40 minutes. Somehow I am not being called - at the same time, 4-5 people who entered AFTER me have gone in. Extremely frustrating

4 months agoEverytime I’ve been here which has probably been four times I’ve waited over an hour to be seen.. the virtual waiting room is a joke and will text me saying I’m next in line but after that 5, yes 5 other names are called before me. Don’t come here if you don’t want to waste 3 hours. The receptionists just chit chat and were annoyed when I interrupted them to ask for help and expressed what I wrote above. It’s unfortunate and concerning that this is the only resource on campus. However one kind receptionist was helpful and one doctor was understanding of my frustration.

3 months agoThe experience at the clinic was appalling. The woman at the front desk was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I was extremely unwell, having vomited four times in the last 15 hours and struggling to stand. After waiting for an extended period, I politely asked if there was any way I could be seen sooner due to my condition. Her response was so dismissive: ‘I don’t know what you want me to do; everyone here is as sick as you, if not worse, so why do you think I can help?’ It was clear that most people in the waiting area were in better condition than I was. The staff was unaccommodating and showed no compassion, leading me to walk out in frustration. Don’t know her name but she needs to fix her attitude.

4 months agoThat was our family clinic while I persuade my masters at UMass. I highly recommend it. Attentive staff, fast lines, always help. I used it for 2 years straight and honestly I never encountered anything negative like other patients describe here.I like UHS staff and facility and recommend it for both walk-in and appointment services

3 months agoI was excited to see that my daughter was able to be seen at UMass UHS. After being sick for nearly 3 weeks and describing symptoms which clearly show a sinus infection, she left thinking she was getting an antibiotic. When she got back to her dorm and opened the RX, she found it was not an antibiotic, but a RX for eye drops because one eye was slightly red. I wish HServices would take the time to share what was being prescribed. In many cases these kids have never been to the doctor by themselves and need information shared in better ways….. she will more than likely be taking a trip to urgent care! uggg!
