Nao Medical – Long Island City 36th Ave., Urgent Care

DO NOT, DO NOT GO HERE!!!Especially if you are taking a child.IT HAS BEEN THREE DAYS SINCE THEY HAVE YET TO SEND MY SON’S PRESCRIPTION TO THE PHARMACY!!! I went here with my son who was sick, only because his doctor was leaving early that day. I will just list what happened: -The seats are dirty. Only one tiny love seat to fit sick patients. -The staff, as friendly as the front desk and Nurse were, ended up being incompetent. The woman who took us in the room didn’t even know how to operate the equipment. When we made her aware that the scale was broken, her response while smiling was “maybe you have gained weight.” Super unprofessional. -This same nurse aggressively used a tongue depressor on my son to the point where he projectile spit up phlegm. This nurse just stood there in shock, not doing anything. When she did move she didn’t even grab a napkin or anything. It was almost as if my son wasn’t sitting there with phlegm all over his shirt and shorts. -Then the nurse practitioner came in. She was nice. We pointed out the scale and that is when she immediately realized that the scale was set at 26 pounds!! -The worst part is that she prescribed us three medications, all of which were rejected from my pharmacy because that woman did not accept my insurance!! - I contacted them and they said they would need a doctor who accepts my insurance to sign off on it. This is after the customer service person questioned the reason behind the decline, even though I knew the reason. He put me on hold fir an exuberant amount of time.That was Monday. It is now Wednesday!!If you care about yourself or loved one, avoid this place like the plague.

I had a great visit to Nao yesterday. I was seen promptly at my appointment time, the staff was kind and professional. I will defiantly come back.

Such a breath of fresh air as a medical experience. The team is prompt with help and very knowledgable. Getting an appointment and getting help is fast and easy - unlike most traditional medical offices!

Got immigration medical exam today. The lady at the front desk is so welcome and helpful as the same as two physician assistants who are so nice and always ask you if you are feeling ok. Im so glad I chose the place to fill up my needs.

Update: So are you going to “find the loophole” to totally screw a min wage worker out of more than a weeks worth of pay? If so, I’ll have to apply for emergency welfare at the mercy of my fellow tax payers. We will see and I’ll update again on how much or little BS you put me through during what little free time I have.SCAMMERS. They scheduled me for an appointment with a doctor that DIDNT WORK FOR THEM?? So guess what that means? They weren’t in my network and now I have a $750 bill. Everyone was SO NICE too! Typical trashy car salesmen. But that’s healthcare in America, right? Just one big used car lot.
