I need to get information to have someone investigate these people. And why they sent my daughter here ! Every time I call the people on the 2nd floor are very unprofessional and the social worker was going to hang up on me after I had scheduled a pass a day before and the day of the pickup. I called in the morning and the man that answered the phone said I couldn’t release her due to social worker getting her signed off. Then hours later I called saying it was a confusion. After trying to communicate with them all day
after 330 they tell me I can go release her. Ruined my plans to have my daughter see her kids I pray these people take care of my daughter and pray they take care of these people in this facility
I recently transferred to Midway Neurological from another facility after a bad experience which I won't name. I would like to express how happy I am with the staff and Administration for going out of their way to help assist me in all areas of need. They clearly enjoy what they do!! The Activities Department, including patio time, beauty shop and volunteer work. It truly adds to my enjoyment and overall fulfillment of my days. Now that I am settled in a much better, less stressful environment, I am able to pursue my life goal of going back to school. Its never too late to start. Thank you Midway for being here and standing by me and I will for sure stand by you. Keep up the good work....Love you guys!
The new administrator is making the difference. Now we can say the staff very respectful towards resident. Any problem is resolved quickly. The administrator Jim is the best. Any body can see the difference, thank you Jim!
I want to acknowledge the new administration governing Midwest Neurological Center. They’re doing an amazing job revamping the facility. I’m a resident here and in the door they came in treating us with dignity and respect. They started off right, picking weeds, scrubbing and painting walls. They cleaned out the vents brought in new mattresses , new towels, linen, and gowns are rotated in every week. Plenty of activities we have a pool table, basketball rim, pinball machines which can be used between 10am and 8pm daily. There s more, the activities department has specialized activitie; like bingo, let’s make a deal, 10 zees 🤷♀️ just to name a few. Activities offer their services normally twice a day. There’s something at this facility that will spark everyone’s interest. The food is delicious. Homemade meals prepared with fresh vegetables and quality meat. The therapy department designs workouts to meet your individual needs. We have a full functional beauty shop where residents can get their hair and nails done. We have a convenient store it’s open from 9am til 8pm. We have a patio that we can go out and smoke at different scheduled times. No smokers can go out at their time. Relax, meditate enjoy the plants and fresh air. 24 hour nursing staff on each floor. The nurses are professional and caring. Counselors on each floor with an open door policy. Any issue you have can be addressed immediately. I can actually say that all of the staff is approachable and will listen. The staff and the services offered here are exceptional and I feel blessed to be a recipient of it. Which reminds me, we do have church services every Wednesday night and Sunday afternoon for those interested . I highly recommend this , it’s a great place to heal. Oh I forgot to mention the work program. I’ve been working here in the facility and it’s actually a fantastic idea. It gives me a sense of responsibility outside of my self and we receive a stipend for our work. Working makes me feel useful and it adds to my healing.
