I would highly recommend this clinic to anybody looking for thorough, competent care. They truly do promote healing and wellness and seem to only hire the best of the best - all of the staff here are fantastic! Noman, the owner and my physiotherapist, is highly skilled and knowledgeable and was able to help me correct chronic muscular and pain issues that I was not able to find relief from elsewhere. His kind and compassionate demeanour make it a joy to go in for sessions and I feel better each time I do. Justin, the clinics psychologist, creates a friendly and comfortable / supportive atmosphere with various modalities available due to his experience and background. He is by far the best psychologist I have seen and has helped me greatly as well. Lisa, the clinics massage therapist, is also the best I have seen. She gathers information based on her clients needs and tailors it to provide the best massage possible using various techniques to provide relief and promote healing and relaxation. Last but not least, the front desk staff are also wonderful! They are cheerful and kind, making you feel welcome by greeting you on a first name basis upon arrival as well as assisting with appointment booking and changes, and sorting out any of the insurance issues etc on their end. Long story short - I would highly recommend all of the services available at Strathcona physical therapy clinic, you won’t be disappointed!

I've been seeing Noman since May, and my experience has been incredibly positive. He has helped me with various issues, including a stiff neck, lower back pain, pain in my glutes, and numbness in my leg caused by weak and imbalanced muscles compressing my sciatic nerve. While I'm still in the recovery process, I've come a long way with his support. My neck and back pain have significantly improved, and thanks to his treatment, including dry needling/IMS, the pain and numbness in my glutes and leg have also improved a lot. I highly recommend Noman for anyone dealing with chronic neck, spine, lower back, or muscle weakness issues

Love this place as they are very kind people and I feel I can trust them which is so important when it comes to health. Noman has made more of a difference in my well-being than any other health professional to date. I see him for a few different things and he's skilled and capable in so many areas! Highly recommend if you have jaw issues especially as his work with the IMS needing gives me far more relief than any other method I've found for jaw pain and I'm so glad my jaw specialist recommended his help. I also see Lysa for massage and love how client-centred she is. I really appreciate how much she tailors each session to where I am at on that given day and she also gives me recommendations and strategies for helping relieve tension in between our sessions which I really value.

Noman is helping me regain my movement and strength from a hip replacement surgery and a bad ankle on the same side, keeping in mind that scar tissue and pain has hindered my recovery. Noman is personable, encouraging, in tuned to my specific circumstances and has realistic expectations, which is helpful for my state of mine and recovery. Norman’s vast knowledge, intellect, and expertise helps him to have a deep understanding of my challenge’s, problem solve and to be mindful in order to find ways for me to do my exercises, effectively and with confidence. His extensive education and experience shows through his efficiency as he gives me the help I need. The staff is friendly and helpful. I am so relieved and grateful to be one of Norman’s client’s.

My name is Marguerite Redshaw. I was attending the U of A Oral Dental Clinic for a new splint and and jaw adjusting TMJ. I was rear ended twice February 5th an March 5th 2002 suffering many injuries. My tongue sat left in my mouth between my teeth, swallowing, speech problems and more. On Wednesday November 8, 2023 I was referred by the U of A Oral Dental Clinic to: Noman Anwari MScPT, BSc. Registered Physiotherapist. Clinic Owner/Director of Strathcona Physical Therapy Clinic where he did an assessment on me. He is professional, kind, very astute, listened and heard all I had to say. Would always investigate, on my behalf, any unusual things I mentioned such as excess mucus, balance and other problems. During my time there Noman has done extensive therapy and given me exercises that amazingly straightened my tongue and strengthened my neck , shoulders, arms and other muscles involved. He advocates for me by speaking with others who are still on my case. I am now seeing a Speech Therapist and booked for physical therapy at the CRIS Clinic. He also recommended a Neurologist, for me to see, to my Neurologist who is retiring. He has definitely helped me not just living to survive but now to thrive going on 84 years of age. I am beyond grateful and highly recommend him to anyone needing physical therapy. Keeping the Faith. Marguerite Redshaw.
