Recently my father passed away, it is a difficult time. I want to thank the staff, nurse & doctors who were very kind and professional. The night staff was equally caring & empathetic. A special shout out to the older gentleman who serves breakfast in the Soins Palliatifs, a very kind soul. The place was clean & well maintained.
If you are ENGLISH and speak very little French, do NOT go there .They spoke mire French to my mother, no matter how many times we to remind then and it makes no difference what we say or do. They certainly do not treat my mother who is in her 90's. I spend. My visit translating for her. Seriously if you are completely English, make sure family check the percentage of English speaking The therapy is great....that' about it
My aunt got wonderful care at this re-habilitation centre following a hip replacement surgery. Very attentive care. I stress, care not service.
My uncle got wonderful, attentive care also in the Palliative Care unit. Great nurses and PAB's.
After spending ten days there, with Covid19, and a broken leg, I would prefer to die peacefully at home, before having to put up with mean nurses, not caring doctors and the noise and clatter that never stops. There were only two civilized people, one of them my orderly and the physio young woman.
Unfortunately not perfect... The only defect with this hospital is the gay man who works in the cafeteria. He is rude, disrespectful, and has the fakest smile I have ever seen. He really shouldn't be working there. If not for him, this hospital would be a 5 star.
