Hope For Freedom has truly saved my life. I found the society at my lowest.. I was in a place that I didn't have much access to phones, but they always answered my call. They helped me find a new way of living. Between my housemates to the staff, to the facilitators they all loved me until I could learn to love myself. They are faith based but they don't push any beliefs on you they allow you to find your faith on your timing and when you are ready. The women's house has had a huge impact on my recovery and I'm forever grateful.
I came to Hope for freedom, for help with my addiction, in July of 2024. Right from the start, I was welcomed with open arms and I immediately felt comfortable. Their program is based on the 12 steps, developing spiritual health and an 8 week, in depth core group, that is amazing. They facilitated me getting to Kelowna, to see my dad, before his passing. All the while, supporting me through the grief, without using drugs or alcohol. The healing I have received upon completing the program has been more than I expected. I highly recommend Hope for freedom to anyone looking to find recovery. I love this place and you will too.
Not a treatment centre but “recovery home.” Doesn’t understand that slips are a part of recovery. The whole one slip and you are out is from an addiction model from 20 years ago. If they don’t understand the nature of addiction, how can they treat i? This “treatment centre” isn’t accredited for a reason. As a Registered Social Worker working in addictions, I would not recommend this program.
since i first walked through the doors of hope for freedom i felt welcomed the staff are amazing they made it easy to open up and talk to I've been to treatment before but this is by far the best facility I've been to i would recommend it to anyone who wants to get there life back
After several years of battling addiction I heard of Hope For Freedom Society. I knew I was running out of chances and was interested in HFFS, as it was both 12-step and Christian based.
I had a great experience with HFFS and feel blessed to have saved my life here!
The staff and facilitators are GREAT and really love what they do, which shows. I would recommend HFFS to any woman who is looking to heal, build a life and find happiness in herself.
This house is where I discovered that I CAN find recovery and learn how to live!
I am truly grateful Hope For Freedom Society for guiding me to this new way of life.
