My aunt is living here permanently because she needs assistance. She has her own room with a bed, dresser, and bathroom. The staff who took care of her were very nice to talk to. She uses a wheelchair to get around. I noticed that her room was cleaned and her bed had been made.My brother and I were invited by our cousin and her husband along with her mother, our Aunt on Grandparents Day. My brother and I came to celebrate. They served hotdogs, a bottle of water, and a bag of plain chips. They had a live band. They had a small area for children to play. They had draws to win prizes. They do this once a year. It was a good turnout. They do have parking at the front with Wheelchair Accessible Parking Lot and entrance. They do have a washroom for men and women sharing the same bathroom with Wheelchair Accessible Entrance on the main floor. When we passed this place going west. The first or second street on the left side. We turned left, and we saw a corner gravel parking lot. Then we turn on the first left. We drive in and park for free. They do have street parking. Just be careful that you don't park at the front of the buildings that are restricted.
Understaffed and that nurse is RUDE. Really she would be better suited to employment in a jail. Wait an hour to get help. Food is bad. The bed is saggy and old. I bring treats like fresh fruit for my Mom and they say they will give them to her and she never sees them. No fitness program. They have one class but they wont make anyone go to it, which is just a cop out. Seniors need fitness. When I visit I can hear people calling for help in the other rooms which can go on for a really really long time. At first it seemed well run, but the more time i spend there the more i can see how bad it is. If i ask about something 3 times I get 3 different answers, and then you just realize they are saying whatever they can to make you go away. Unacceptable.
Not amenable to certain clients with uncommon disabilities. They are made to feel like 3rd class citizens.
Some staff are unable to empathize or deal with different disabilities.
Also the response time to a call bell is extremely long with staff shortage 20 to 25 min or longer.
On the upside , the facility is clean with suitable meals , good recreation staff.
Fantastic long term care provider. Safely shepherded their residents through the COVID-19 crisis without any outbreaks or loss of life. Wonderful rooms, wonderful staff, nutritious meals, and plenty of activities. Thank you so much!
Very bad service And they talkative so much and toxic people so much commons at this area. I don’t think so. I never gonna put my face in this organization ever again.
