Belmont Bay Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center

I had a very positive experience at Belmont Bay rehabilitation center. The staff are so kind and patient. And social worker, Isatu, was so helpful. The nurses were so gentle-and I really enjoyed working with the rehab therapists.

Belmont Bay is top notch! All the previous reviews are all true! The staff is excellent! Mr. Darnell the director is very involved with the residents! He is very attentive to his staff, patients, and their families! Anna the nurse is very kind and gentle to her patients and the family! She goes above and beyond her duties! Myra the nurse is very attentive and always answers your questions and is very comforting to her patients and their families! Eddie, Edi, Schvonne, and Soda are excellent and warm to whomever they come in contact with! They are team players and is never too busy to assist! Sam the head nurse is a gem and a pleasure to talk to! He is very on top of his duties and willing and ready to always assist when the need arises! My former student Ms. Charlea the Admissions Coordinator you are GREAT! I am so proud of the professional you have become! You always have a smile and a listening ear! Mr. Darnell Director job well done! Take a bow! Gifty the other head nurse always jumps in when needed for the patients and their families! No job is too small or big for her! The staff is more than excellent! Belmont Bay you are GREATEST!!!! I would highly recommend this facility! Clean and never smells like a nursing home! Thanks for taking care of my love one! I give a five (5) star rating! Ben the therapist is great! He is very patient and is always available to update the families on how their loved one are progressing! He is #1 therapist!!!

I came to this facility this past weekend to visit a family member. Initially, my expectations were low;however, I was certainly proved wrong. When I walked in and saw how clean/organized it was, my opinion started changing immediately! The staff was nice and helpful when needed. My family member looked like he is being well taken care of. I am beyond happy with his stay at this point! Thank you for all the love and care you guys are putting into your facility and patients! Your hard work is appreciated and doesn't go unnoticed!

Belmont Bay Rehabilitation was fantastic. Our family's experience was all positive. The staff was professional and kind to our brother during his rehab. Isatu, (Social Service) made the whole process easy for us. She was always willing to answer our questions and explain things patiently. All in all the care was hit and miss although there were some really caring aids.(the best ones that I had were, morning shift Tmnit Sium, and Evelyn. The afternoon shift Kim and Lavone. Night shift was a nightmare took forever to answer the call bell and even then one might have to wait another hour or two to get the help they requested. Therapy was also hit and miss one never knew if they were having therapy or not. It wasn’t unusual for one to go a couple days without any. The food was awful not really a place you expect fine dining but tasteful would be nice.
