Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Miami

Excellent stuff. Everyone, and when I say everyone I include those who cleaned my room, those who worked in the kitchen, those who worked in the front desk, the nurses the doctors every physician that came to see me , the nurses assistant, every therapist that was assigned to me , everyone treated me with respect and with sincere desire to help me. I would definitely go to the facility again if I had to and recommend it to others. The way others treat you has a lot to do with the way you respond to treatment. Everyone was patient, considerate, and no matter the circumstances did not make me feel uncomfortable. The facility is very clean. The food was excellent. I had never been in a rehab facility center and was not sure what to expect, but it did exceeded my expectations and I was very pleased with everything. * I would like to specially thank one of the nurses assistance by the name of Gladys, who truly went beyond to make my stay at this facility more comfortable.* I honestly have absolutely no complaints and I am sure that if anyone has the necessity to go to a Center for rehabilitation and chooses this facility , they will be pleased. We must also always remember , that they are there to help us and we must put our part in order for all of us to work together , being patient , respectful to others , and positive will always help for everything to go as it should correctly. Thank you to the entire stuff.

My husband had a massive hemorrhage stroke. He went to Encompass with a peg tube, barely talking, completely dependent on the employees goodness to move him in bed. The dedication, compassion and hard work from the physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, nurses and nursing assistant he was discharged home using a rolling walker, can eat regular meals. Five Stars are not enough to express how grateful we are. The kindness, and compassion received as soon as the door opens warmed our heart. Keep up the great work. I will recommend that place to everyone. A place that treats people like a human being

The one and only complain I have is the name! It should be called “HEAVEN” because only angels work there, from the top doctor’s, to the therapists, to the nurses, assistant nurses, administrators, social workers and all the way to the lady that cleaned my room. They are kind, caring, lovable, full of empathy and human kindness that I have NEVER experienced elsewhere, God forbid, but if I had to go to a Rehabilitation center, I would not think it twice and will let my family and friends know. Thank you for everything you did for me!

My friend's husband was at Encompass Rehab after suffering a massive hemorrhage stroke. He went with a peg tube left the place able to eat regular food. The dedication of speech, occupational, physical therapist, the hard work from nursing staff, social worker, human resources but not forget the one who fight for him "the Liaison " , all of you did a wonderful job 👏 i will always remember what i saw. I have been to Encompass twice. I have found them to be excellent. Very clean facilities with a strong emphasis on being sanitary, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive staff, and surprisingly good food. Their parmesan encrusted codfish was superb! While there, I spoke with several other patients who had been to other facilities, several of which they referred to as nightmares. They all said Encompass was by far the best they have been to. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to my family and friends.
