I had a really positive experience here. I saw the nurse practitioner and she could not have been kinder. I didn't feel rushed--I felt like she really took the time with me to listen, ease my anxiety, and answer all of my questions. I also got an appointment fairly quickly for a new patient.

Staff and service are great, however this facility does not charge for a wellness visit but rather a full office visit. Therefore most insurances will not fully cover any yearly check ups through this provider. For that reason I would not recommend this company if you are looking for somewhere to visit for a yearly skin wellness checkup.

I was sadly disappointed with my visit. I saw Dr. Englert and he spent all of two minutes with me. He made me feel very rushed and it was clear he wanted to move onto the next patient. I had several things I wanted to address since it has been awhile since I have seen a dermatologist. I was hoping for a patient and caring provider who would be attentive to my concerns. I did not find it here. Firstly, I requested a full body examination because I have a family history of melanoma. Dr. Englert’s exam was brief, dismissive, and not thorough. He made a quick scan with his eyes, made no notes, and there were some spots and moles on my under arms that he missed entirely. Secondly, I have been experiencing extreme scalp issues and although I pointed to the back of my scalp, he only assessed the top and told me “Dove Scalp Care” would take care of the mild dandruff. I had a feeling this would not be an effective solution since I have already attempted over the counter options, but I still purchased it in good faith. As expected, it was not effective. After seeking a second opinion, I found that I have scalp psoriasis that was being exacerbated by staying damp for too long (I rarely use heat tools, and the winter air was keeping my hair wet for prolonged periods). Since using a medicated shampoo and blow drying my hair, my itchy scalp has subsided. Lastly, I have rosacea on my face. This doesn’t cause me major issues, but I was hoping to get recommendations on proper face wash/moisturizers that could reduce some of the redness. Dr. Englert suggested a zinc bar, but gave no further direction on when/how to use it. When using it to wash my face, it dried me out significantly and has only lead to further breakouts. I have since stopped using it. All in all, the office is clean, the staff are kind, but the quality of care is lacking.

Clean office, friendly front desk staff but wait times are high and all of the appointments I’ve had were delayed 10-40 minutes. Plan for 60-90 minutes for routine follow-up appointments. Other places I’ve been got me in and out in 30 minutes or less or even scheduled me for tele-health appointments but not here. Not sure if they’re overbooking or just not allotting appropriate time per patient but it’s fairly frustrating. As other reviewers mentioned you’ll likely only ever see a PA, not an MD but it think that’s getting pretty common these days no matter where you go due to the doctor shortage.

I've been going here for a few years. The staff and the dermatologists are incredibly nice and really do care for their patients. Anytime I have a concern. They always make room to see me and answer any questions I have. Really thankful for a place so like this so close to work and home!
