I highly recommend Dr. Shannon @ Wellspring dental. The experience from start to finish was amazing. The office is welcoming, clean and the staff are lovely. She went above and beyond to hear my dental needs and create a plan for me. I appreciate her to working with me extensively on the root cause for my dental concerns and offering a functional approach to dentistry. Dr. Thorsteinson is a very caring and compassionate dentist with a lot of knowledge in both dentistry and the field or breathing and airway. She did a MARPE ( miniscrew-assisted rapid palatal expansion) procedure for me recently to treated some upper airway resistance and sleep issues I had been dealing with my whole life. The improvement in my breathing, sleep, and overall quality of life after the procedure was nothing short of life-changing. My gratitude for Dr. Thorsteinson's work is infinite. If you have a loved one who struggles with sleep apnea and breathing issues, Dr. Thorsteinson will be a great resource for you. It is always best and easiest to try to address these issues in early childhood, but as I can attest, even adults can be treated with the advances of modern dentistry.

As a provider, Wellspring Dental is a frequent referral. I enjoy the open communication and collaboration with Dr. Shannon in order to provide the best care and functional outcome for my patients. This is why I have brought both of my kids to receive her guidance and expertise. My kids have different needs and Dr. Shannon was able to clearly explain the pathways each child will take. The sleep data she is able to collect is such an added benefit to have when needing to make decisions. Her visuals are top notch to support your understanding. The time and care she takes is what sets her apart. Despite being in the field and understanding the connections airway has with development, my husband was skeptical. Dr. Shannon was able to bridge the levels of understanding between both of us and help provide clear explanations for my husband to grasp the challenges and rationales for each child. He spoke very highly of the experience and process.
