update: im on biopsy number 4 and heading to u of r’s cancer center for further testing. you should all lose your ability to practice medicine! :)original review: I was a long-time patient here, through some hairy parts of my life, and decided to stick with them even when I got better insurance a few years ago (this place is a total Medicaid-mill, systemic issue, anyways). Those hairy parts of my life — dating back almost 10 years ago to my early 20’s, including mental health misdiagnosis and a garden variety bout of addiction (I got clean in 2018), stayed on my record providing me with a large helping of stigmatization when my PHYSICAL health began declining in 2021. There were incidental findings on my lungs, follow-up scans for two years without a single referral to a pulmonologist nor any defining of what was occurring in them, also not really any explanation of results. It took other doctors saying, “uhhhh, this needs to be defined and your primary should be advocating for you” for me to SEEK a referral. In those two years, I began having other physical symptoms, of which the provider lovingly attributed to anxiety, accused me of being anti-medication, attempted to provide psychiatric “advice”, and would say “it’s always a new symptom” and “it has already been 45 minutes, I have other patients” (then maybe schedule follow-ups before 4-6 months?), and that she “wants me to live my life”. Despite the health concerns, my life is very much lived and she is not my friend nor family nor therapist so I should not have to defend that to my NP — I am married, a full-time college student with a 3.6 GPA, I volunteer, I travel extensively and have a long list of hobbies I actively participate in and have a flourishing home life. I would often leave appointments in tears, feeling invalidated and scared, thinking maybe I was just crazy and perhaps I didn’t even know how anxious I was (because that was confusing?? My anxiety has been well-maintained for YEARS), and began focusing on appointments with specialists and finding a way out to a new primary. So! To say all that, I wasn’t making it up and I have clinical and pathological findings (yay for a lung biopsy and BAL that showed evidence of possible malignancy, but if that is ruled out — which is very hopeful but my god what if it isn’t?, it is an incurable multi-organ disease that would’ve really helped me to know years ago!), and doctors/nurses who listen to me and see me and order testing with PURPOSE and explanation. At least this clinic taught me, the hard way, to advocate for myself, listen to my body, and leave if I must. I mentioned the lungs because that is by far the biggest oversight — but there are plenty more and I’m happy to be on the road to more answers so I can best participate in my treatment and figure out what is best for my body, because it isn’t always pills, guys! 🫶🏻

I had a cleaning here today as a new patient. I have some anxiety about dental work, even a simple cleaning. The tech who did my cleaning and Xrays listened to me and took care to keep me comfortable throughout my visit. the office staff and dentist were friendly and helpful as well.

I couldn't be happier with the care I received here today. I usually hate going to the Dr but todays visit was amazing. I was treated so friendly and I was able to utilize the new lab next door for the first time. The gentleman that drew my blood was a legend. Got it on the first poke and made me feel so comfortable. This place is really stepping up there game lately. Don't be afraid to give them a try!

I’ve been coming to East Hill for almost a decade and I can’t stress how happy I am with their level of care. I’ve gone through a lot medically with them and they are there every step of the way. I currently see Ute and she is an absolute pleasure to see. In her visits she takes the time to get to know you and to see what’s going on. If needed, she refers you to a specialist; no problem at all. In addition to my medical needs, I also get dental cleanings / checkups. I’ve never had an issue with this either. Once again, if I need more specific care, a referral is made; no problem. I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews out here. East Hill is defiantly worth your time and money.

If I could give less than one star for their behavioral health services I would. Nicole was incredibly stigmatizing and flat out did not listen to me when I told her I was happy on my current medication. It was very clear that she did not think that “adult adhd is a thing” and so if you are seeking treatment for adult adhd DO NOT go here!
