The place is a scam they put a gym in there 2 years ago and no one has ever worked out in it yet. A lot of the Counselors, have they do favoritism? Some of them are racisthey have a brand new stadium or kitchen where it has like the salad bar and everything you don't get no salad bar. I was never ran out of sugar the 1st day. I was that sugar didn't have no sugar for the next 3 days. Read the pamphlet, it says, you will never go hungry to help you with clothes. Don't do none of that

I was an employee at the Tuerk House on two different occasions and things got worse what I found out that they will burn you out to their needs with no support on yours. They overwork you and underpay you. I most definitely would not recommend anyone for employment here McDonalds is better.

Man I ain't gon lie. I really didn't want to be here but my family so that I had so much trauma, depression and drugs so I came in to get detox. I experienced 28 days of positive direction about recovery. It led me to search my inner self. I left the 28 day program and came to to Howard House. These few months have kept me from the streets and kept drugs away from me. Helped me progress and get clean and my mind right.

5 star recovery from Detox to coming into the Nilsson House. One thing I like about this place is the groups and the other gentlemen I get to do recovery with. I also like the activities. Also the preparation to be a very good member of society once I live this house place

My name is frank A. I went through Turk House crisis center for three days then i went up stairs to the men's 30 day inpatient treatment center. I had a nice counselor their who suggested i try the Weisman House long term program and I knew going in to treatment that I had enough of the streets, I was excepted by Ms. Gwenn and I made it work for me. I was able to accomplish everything I planned to do. The staff and director was great working with clients were they were at in their process and what they hoped to achieve before leaving. I have to say thanks to Ron, A peer at the house, He would give us real talk about his experiences that most of the guy's their could relate to.
