My husband is 74 and a Vietnam Veteran. He spent most of the holidays, Christmas and New Year there due to respiratory problems. He is ALWAYS in good care there. The medical staff is very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I hope it is just rumors that this facility is closing. What a waste! WHAT WILL MY HUSBAND DO!? 5 Star rating from me and my husband. I can't say enough good things about the Beckley V A. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have used several VA Facilities post military career across several States and The VA Medical Center in Beckley, undoubtedly is one of the best. My primary care and my Pulmonologist are both top notch as was the care I received through the ER and subsequently admitted for several days. The medical professionals and staff have heartfelt attitude. One of the other reasons I gave 5 Stars is, this VA facility is one of the cleanest I have been in. Kudos to the Director of this Medical Center who makes sure Veterans are taken care of in a great, clean and safe environment. The volunteers also make this facility one of the best.
Princeton VA Clinic has Unacceptable Signage. You MUST place a sign on your door identifying Your Entrance.
Veterans say that this is an Old Ignored Issue.
Fixing this will earn a 5 Star Rating for the Beckley VA.
Great veterans hospital. Best I've been to and I have used 4 it post military lifetime. The people are great, very friendly and very helpful. The follow up and patients. Offer many clinics.
Completely understaffed. Wait times to get an appointment with primary care is 3-5 months if lucky. Most veterans take a trip to the ER to get primary medical care because of the lack of staff. I've been under the VAs care for 14 years now and with 4 different facilities all in separate states. This is by far the worst/lack of care I have ever received.
Speciality clinics are a hit and miss. Cardio is the worse.
