I had an MRI here today, and everything was great. The staff was funny, and super friendly. They made the process quick and smooth. I was terrified upon arrival, and they did a great job calming me without even knowing I needed to be.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!I walked into this place excited to get answers (and with minimal pain, having seen my chiropractor and massage therapist that morning), but I left stumbling, struggling to walk, and in tremendous pain - far worse than I could have ever imagined. On top of that, I felt dismissed and mistreated. I kept asking myself, "How is this possible?" as I carefully timed my re-entry into my truck, struggling to climb in while leaving myself and the driver’s door vulnerable to the traffic rushing alongside me.This facility was recommended by my orthopedic doctor’s office, but I will never step foot through its doors again. Why? Despite me stopping the imaging process due to intense pain and unusual nerve sensations, I was disregarded. The pain throughout my body intensified, and the band placed around my feet ("to keep my legs in place") during the hip imaging grossly overcompensated, leaving me barely able to stand as I exited the machine. Nerve endings throughout my entire body were firing, causing a pain that you can’t touch, lay still, or sit still to calm. The tech helped me sit up on the table as I struggled to do so, then assisted me with dismounting. He pointed to the chairs outside the MRI room to sit down and even suggested I could lie down in the lobby if needed. I sat in the dressing area for a bit, knowing my time was limited since it only held two lockers and another patient was waiting. I eventually dressed and made my way to the lobby to sit.Shortly after, the MRI tech came to the front to chat with the receptionist. I approached him with questions and concerns about the nerve sensations still firing (painful pinpricks) from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet - and everywhere in between - with special focus on my jaw and chest. I explained my concerns, only to be met with the repeated response: "I’ve never heard of such a thing happening."Really? Out of the hundreds, if not thousands, of people who have come through these doors, no one has ever complained about pain or nerve sensitivity resulting from your MRI machine? Pain so severe that I, your patient, actually stopped the imaging process to bring it to your attention? Yet you (and the woman running the MRI machine) dismissed my concerns, both urging me to continue the procedure.I left barely able to walk, struggling to get into my vehicle, with pain coursing through every inch of my body. I felt dismissed, physically and mentally mistreated. The next morning, I woke up to a severe migraine that lasted the entire day. While I may not have had on jewelry, a pacemaker, or metal screws or plates in/on my body, my body did negatively react to the magnets in the machine as if something within me was being forcefully pulled away.• Don’t let these people dismiss your God-given self-preservation instincts or downplay hypersensitivity to high powered magnet, as such a reaction does exist.• Don’t let them shame you into continuing a procedure that you believe is causing you internal harm, as they did to me.• And shame on them for prioritizing their process over my well-being, to include the band they placed around my feet, which inflicted even more harm on my already compromised hip.I truly wish negative ratings were an option.
They were a great staff. Friendly and very helpful. I am from another state and they did their best to accommodate me on my short time there. Would recommend them. The only thing, it was like any other drs. office. Sit and wait
The staff was very nice and pleasent proficient very accommodating to my needs but most of all a great job well done and quickly. Will highly recommend to anyone Thank you all so much
