I and my son have been patients of Dr. Arthur for over 25+ years and have received excellent eye care.
She has proven herself to be a professional...one of THE BEST!!
Our family has been going to Dr. Arthur for over 16 years and no complaints. Treated our twins since they were 2 years old, and now they are 18 and still going strong! Staff is great and friendly as well.
Dr. Arthur is amazing. Kind, knowlegeable, and professional. Been going to her for the last 4 years and now my toddler goes there too. She is inspiring and I love how she explains everything in a straight forward, easy to understand way. To be fair the office is often behind schedule. I always try to get in early in the day if I can. But I find calling before I leave to find out if they are on schedule, helps me to minimize my wait. Not ideal, I know. But she is worth the wait. Trust me!
Dr. Arthur gives technicians a great deal of control in administering eye tests, field tests and OEP examinations without the explication of intention, discerning procedures and purpose. Dr.Arthur is pleasant but soon it becomes apparent that the office is an assembly line. She is unprofessional hurried and dismissive when explanations and clarity of test results are required. The office is spacious, organized and well decorated but loud because of a blasting tv and frequent phone calls and chatter of two receptionists. It's easy to schedule appointments but it's a telephone tag to speak to the doctor can go on for weeks. Staff repetitively ask the same insurance questions and its a different preoocupation from similar medical offices. I have met with Dr. Arthur for two years but I will not return due to professionalism despite close walking distance and sharing affinity with her as a black female medical professional.
Dr. Ann Arthur is a wonderful Dr. However, her receptionist needs years of customer service training. I visited the office about 4 years ago, since then I have been trying to make an appointment to see Dr. Ann, and haven't been successful. Reason, the receptionist is so disrespectful, very difficult to communicate with, a lot of sarcasm etc. It's very sad that because of one behavior and lack of interest to communicate with patients, has made me decided to go elsewhere. Very disappointed! Kindness goes a long way.
