Family Braces NW | Orthodontist Calgary

I originally chose Family Braces as the pricing terms were better than other places I discussed with. The NW location was the closest location and they had excellent reviews. I also recently noticed they are opening a new location in the SW so that is exciting. In regards to the treatment and service I was very happy with the results and everyone was always flexible to adjust appointments if required which was awesome. All the employees are very professional and I am happy I chose Family Braces. If you choose them you will be in good hands.

I had an excellent experience at family braces. The price came in well below competitor quotes. This includes refinements and final retainer to make my smile perfect. It was very easy to make appointments both virtually and in person. The staff and orthodontists were very professional and looked after my needs. I would recommend stopping in to get a quote!!

There are four people in my family undergoing orthodontic treatment at this clinic. We initially chose this clinic because it’s close to our home, and the Google reviews were good. It’s been three months since we started treatment, and here’s my experience: if you’re using invisible aligners, this clinic is great because you don’t have to come in often. However, if you’re using metal braces, you need to be careful. Their biggest issue is that each assistant handles the metal braces differently. Some do a good job, so you can wait until the next adjustment, but if they don’t do it well, you have to bear the consequences of their mistakes. Recently, one of my wires came out. I walked into the clinic closest to me, waited an hour and a half, and got it fixed. Luckily, I had time to wait. However, I later realized that the assistant forgot to place the spring. I didn’t want to affect my treatment progress, so I called to schedule the soonest available appointment, which required me to drive 30 minutes to another clinic. When I got there, the assistant shortened my wire and installed a very short spring. At the time, I thought it would be fine as long as it lasted until my next adjustment, but two days later, the wire came off again. I walked into the clinic close to me in the morning, but they couldn’t help me that day, and there were no available appointments for the next week either. They said they would call me if there was a cancellation. The feeling of having a wire come loose in your mouth is not pleasant. If you’re using metal braces, you need to carefully keep track of every detail yourself and make sure everything is correct after the appointment. Otherwise, you’ll waste your own time dealing with someone else’s mistakes. However, if you’re doing invisible aligners, there’s no problem choosing this clinic. The other three members of my family are doing aligners and haven’t had any issues. Our family has different ages and different cases. I will also share our experience once we complete our treatment.

I gave Family Braces five stars because all the staff members are friendly, helpful, and attentive to your needs. They also have a comfortable and clean environment for you to get your treatment done. All the professionals are skilled and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend!!
