I was in at Chambersburg Hospital on July 2, 2018 to have my severe headaches, dizziness and nausea diagnosed. I got a concussion around mid April and was instructed by my family doctor to go to the ER if these symptoms continue. Doctor Batt finally saw me. I explained to her my issues and what has been going on. She says that if there was any real issues like "bleeding in the brain I would be dead." She then asked me why I came here, then I explained why and I was instructed by my doctor to come here. She did no believe me. I explained to her that these headaches and dizzy spells are affecting my livelihood at my job. All she has to say is "Yeah I bet." I asked for a CT scan, she denied me one because she says it would not spot anything. I suggested an MRI, she says she was not authorized to do MRI's. I asked for something for the pain. Dr. Batt said she can only give me something for today. All she could give me was for something for the nausea, it was only a 10 day supply. The nurse came in and gave me my paperwork to leave and said "the doctor explained to you what you should do right?"At this point I already felt upset because I was given no recourse on what to do, just more questions. I said, "No, nothing was explained to me" I wasn't given any info on who to see, if I need a referral, what to do about the pain, what course of action to take, just a 4 minute session telling me since I'm not dead it cant be that serious. Dr. Batt was by far the worst experience I've had with someone I'm the medical profession in my life. She was not any help and didn't offer me anything to help with this pain I have been feeling for 3 months.
