We have always been very happy with Dr.G and her team. I can’t believe how many years it has been, but she has made earaches better, taken care of tonsils and adnoids, referred for other services and has the most wonderful bedside manner- for people who have been kind and helped my children, I will always remain loyal with services and am happy to share with others when they have done such great things for us. Four children, enough visits to feel like I have a data set of opinion that is relatively reliable easier than leaving the area for services. The administration is separate in my mind from doctor practice- she is a great provider as are the doctors and nurse practitioners.Angela facilitates the shot clinic like the bionic woman and has it down to a science; she is competent, efficient, kind and on point. Every WellSpan office would be lucky to have such skill. From the minute we walk in, we know if she’s not there that day, in a world of dandelions she stands out as a lily of the valley or a daisy
This doctor's office is possibly the worst I've ever encountered. On the day of my surgery, multiple nurses at the hospital mentioned that they had never seen Doctor D rush so much. After being sent home post-surgery, I experienced significant bleeding for the next three days but was unable to get in touch with the office. The office staff showed no concern in relaying my messages or assisting me. Despite responding a few times via message, they displayed no concern or offered any help. During my follow-up appointment a week later, I overheard the doctor and several staff gossiping loudly about another patient for over 10 minutes while I waited in the exam room. The office has rescheduled my follow-up appointment twice now, citing the doctor's busy schedule, with appointments months out.
After my last follow up, I will NEVER return to this office and I do not recommend them at all.
Calls me the week before my appointment to tell me they’d have to reschedule this appointment 4 months later because I need something else prior to my appointment. I’ve had this appointment for months and you call me now AND then the lady was rude as all hell. Wellspan really is garbage these days…let’s schedule you out for ear pain that you have been having so you can wait in pain 4 more months because we are inadequate and can’t call people when they make the appointment to let them know they need something prior. Cool. Wish I could get negative 15 stars.
Wouldn’t even give them a star. My child had a stat referral due to having sleep apnea (stopping breathing while asleep) due to very large touching tonsils. My child also had fluid in the ears causing problems with his hearing and they still wouldn’t see him asap. The “soonest” appointment was two months out for just the initial appointment. Keep in mind that’s for a stat referral. The office was called consistently (daily) for any cancelations so we could get in sooner, however they wouldn’t answer or return my calls. I explained multiple times, my child was having throat pain, and all these other issues and they still continued to tell me that was their soonest availability. He was suppose to See an audiologist, and ent. They refused to split up the appointment meaning not being back to back. I offered to come in for separate appointments so he could be seen sooner however they refused to accommodate that. Attitude from the secretaries over my concern for my child. Overall very discouraged and unhappy with this facility.
It's about as on par as *some* WellSpan places at least in Chambersburg, the reception and doctors are friendly and kind, but the medical advice and treatment provided is lousy and not much effort is put into diagnosing. Wait times to see appointments here are very long too even if you have been here once before. I am still dealing with ear crackling, dizziness, popping issues for months and the answer was to chalk it up to Anxiety. I wouldn't want to say to avoid this place, but I'd say get a second opinion if you feel they aren't listening to your concerns.Only a few WellSpan places are actually decent. One notably is the WellSpan Plastic Surgery & Skin Care centre.
