I used to really love this place. I had dental anxiety, and they were pretty nice and made me feel okay when I started going. However, I've routinely run into issues - a decent billing/insurance issue, and then several issues with the fillings I got where I've had more than one tooth retouched more than once. If I go in for something else, usually they'll fix it while I'm there because it's small issues or quick fixes as I'm told. I wouldn't be upset because sure it can happen, but considering it is multiple teeth and retouching multiple times, it makes me question it.I recently went for a cracked filling - I called to inform that my filling was cracked, it needed to be seen, gave all the details. They got me in the next day - great, thank you. I then got REPEATEDLY basically lectured by the dentist it was my fault they didn't book enough time for her to her work, despite me saying what work I needed. I'm sorry I'm not the scheduler, and I didn't bait and switch you for what I needed done.I was told they would rush and squeeze me in since I was already here. During the procedure when my lips/mouth was numb, I guess the suction was on an area too long and I had a giant swollen blister for a solid week visible to the world. And now, two weeks after the work, the same filling has cracked exactly where it was prior. They're nice, sure, but I struggle trusting the actual quality of my care here. I've been going for nearly two years and it's routinely been small things, but the last time my treatment really solidified I would never come back.

I was a patient here for several years before I moved to the West Coast and am returning. They were able to squeeze me in quickly for an annual exam and book a next day appointment for an emergency exam for my husband (who got his emergency exam at another dental office canceled 5 minutes before the appointment). I've had issues with other dental offices over the years with strange recurring charges or extended wait times. I've never had an issue with BWPD.

I had a weird experience here. Prior to this visit, I haven't been to a dentist in a year due to moving a bunch, but before this I went every 4 months for cleaning an routine check ups. Please tell me why this place was acting like I have a bone disease stage 500. Without realizing, I got sooo worried after leaving the clinic, until my common sense came back. To add, they refused to book a cleaning on the same day as the exam, which was weird to me. I'm old, been to many dentists, and never once a place didn't give me cleaning on the same day as the exam. They justified it with "we don't know how much time we'll need for cleaning". A regular amount for regular cleaning unless their prerogative is to freak people out into getting the deepest cleaning you had plus sedation. Like they tried with me.When I wanted to get an estimate for the supposed bone disease stage 500 treatment cost, they wouldn't give me an estimate until I signed a paper that stated that I agree to pay the costs associated with the treatment plan ... But I didn't know the cost yet so I wouldn't sign agreeing to the unknown costs for that treatment plan. The lady tried telling me they can't give me an estimate until someone chimed in saying they can do a prior authorization. What a waste of my time. I never went back and told my friends not to either. Really was hoping this wasn't one of those gimmick boutique dentists, but was wrong.

Been going to Dr. Schwartz for as long as I can remember. I do not love dental appointments but Dr. S is so good at her job, and genuinely a lovely human, that I no longer mind going. She’s awesome!

The whole staff is so nice. Dr. Habal was so kind and attentive as well, explaining each part of the procedure and also making sure I wasn’t in pain for my fillings. I’ve had difficulties with dentists before but they make going to the dentist easy :)
