What a great facility and to know our tax dollars are well spent like this place. Located on the 3rd and 4th floor, the Conroe location is a very nicely build facility for our VETS. Staff were amazingly professional and very fast with checking in. Nurses and technicians were true champions on their duties. Thank you Conroe VA. Highly recommended if you live north of FM 1960.

If you hate Veterans work here. They got jobs must be nice. I regret serving my country when I come here. These employees are buying rental properties while not doing their job. Ask the NP she knows. Patient advocates I have the audio recording. They can’t even transfer or hang up on you properly.

The dental clinic is superb!!! It has the newest equipment I have ever seen. Quick check in and not a very long wait for my appointment. The staff is great and the treatment first class. Thanks VA!!

Very nice personnel. I moved here from Louisiana and did not know that it took a much longer time to get to see a doctor ( over a month ) and I did not have enough medication to last that long . The receptionist told me to come back as a walk in later on . I did so and was told that they cannot dispense medication for long term . I explained to the receptionist that I would not have some important medications that I take always and would run out . She told me to sit down and she would try to see what they could do . After awhile she told me to go sit in the walk in clinic area and that maybe they could help me . They called me in a short while and I explained my situation to one of the medics I talked to . He told me that it would be real hard because they are not a dispensary . He then went and talked to a nurse assistant and she called me in . She was a very cheerful , pleasant and easy to talk to . She said it was no problem because I was already in the system and all my medications were in my profile and she would have them sent to my home . It was a load off my back . They are a very busy place with a long line that was consistently getting longer . There were some not so happy people in there . I do feel sorry for the personnel working there because of the heavy load and they are doing the best they can . But I do feel sorry for the veterans too because of the wait times . I came from the V.A. in Alexandria Louisiana where you are treated like royalty . Your wait time to see the doctors if no more than fifteen minutes , medication and everything is right there in one building . They even have an urgent clinic opened seven days a week . You are put on different teams and your appointments are fast . You give blood and see your doctor in one visit because they test your blood right then and there . If they don't have the doctor you need then they send you to a civilian doctor . So my advice is if you are moving here then go and see your primary doctor and get any medication you will need in case of a long wait and take care of any urgent appointments you may need . I guess I will have to adjust to this new system and make the best of it . But they are good people over here and will try to help you as much as they can .

Primary care appointments are always met with a long wait times as you are on doctor time and not your own. Please advocate for all your health concerns and ask to see specialists in community care. Lab technicians have been nice but are short-staffed and I can understand that honestly. Call ahead before you make a walk-in because they can have time slots where it's allowed. Check-in people are burnt out and would be bitter if you say anything that's not an appointment time. That's the VA for ya so uh...you know the deal.
