I went into treatment May 10 , 2023 for a 30 day program , ended up staying 106 days , because I didn't want the healing to end . By far the best decision I could have ever made for myself , beyond grateful. I went in with such an attitude, and an ego that I didn't even know I had , it was just how I thought things were supposed to be . I guess it was my willingness to surrender and allow help from others that started my path , but the support I recieved from the staff . .Siobhan the admin is spot on , a very genuine person , always has your back and more fair to people than we realize. Bryan , the senior guy , ( time served , not age ) has this vibe , at.least for me , that you understand right away and feel this connection with , he puts things in a way that makes sense right away . Mark is an amazing man to talk to , because he has been there himself he has a way of listening and giving advice that is so easy to take . My counselor Troy , the man . Things kinda started a little rocky , my attitude towards him and the rest of the world was pretty harsh . Things got sorted out , or at least I did when I let him help . Amazing is an understatement, I could never thank him enough for how he has helped me. The day to day program took a bit to get into for me because it was structure , I didn't want someone else's structure. Check-in in the morning was probably the best part of my day I miss it. I met some amazing people there , some of which I'm still in contact with today . June 18 2024 was 13 months sober ! the longest I've been sober in my entire life . My life is so different now , so much easier . In such a short time I have so much back that I thought I had destroyed and was gone forever. Grateful is a word that I have used so much times , it has meaning to me now . To any man still out there dying from addiction, just reach out , take that hand and give it a try , it can work. Thank you CVRC Dave

The staff here is wonderful, the cook is great. Counselling was fantastic. The meetings in the community are great and I met my sponsor who took me through the twelve steps and I’m doing really well. Better than ever. Only problem is management lets people just do whatever they want to do. I found that half the people there during my stay were just using the place as a shelter. To get free meals and not participate in recovery. One guy literally ran the tv room and carried the remote in his pocket. Others were clearly using drugs while staying. Those people were very frustrating to be around. Staff don’t seem to care or are able to do anything about it. I still thank them for saving my life though.

Great staff, very committed. I did not always agree with the policies, but they tried to be fair.

Great staff. Alway bend an ear if you need additional help with what's on your mind. Information that I needed for my particular situation was presented to me the next morning when I didn't ask for it, they just went out of their way to get Information for me. A lot of changes to suite various situations such as Covid and quarantine situations. Very fast to isolate anyone who had remote symptoms. Promptly drove us to a drive through testing facility.
