UHealth Jackson Urgent Care | Cutler Bay

I had an excellent experience at this urgent clinic. I was in and out in less than one hour. I did not feel rushed. The clinician took their time during my intake. She listen very attentively to my symptoms at hand and explained the treatment recommendations. I was initially seen by a nurse (or nurse assistant) Kim. She was so was so kind and gentle as she could sense I was nervous to perform the Covid and strep test. Everyone was very polite and professional at the clinic. The only critique I would make is that I made an appointment online before arriving. However, when I arrived they said the system was down and my information was not received. So I had refill all the paperwork in person. Thankfully when I arrived at my designated appointment time it was not busy. So I was seen right away. This is my second time using this location and I would have no hesitation revisiting if I need to. It’s such a convenient way to be seen by a medical team for minor issues.

Every time I come here with my son they treat us amazing. Raul the nurse is great. It's good that he is bilingual since my son mainly speaks Spanish and feels more comfortable. Thank you again to the staff for the good attention provided.

The location is clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the service was prompt. Both my Dr. and nurse took the time to listen to the background of my condition and an effective treatment was prescribed.

I had a pain in my right knee for a few days and had self medicated trying to get rid of it without success. on September 14, 2024 I made the right decision to go visit the Jackson Urgent Care in Cutler Bay, which is very close to my house, as I had lost a few nights of sleep and was really in a very bad state, both physical and mental. The admission process is very efficient and fast, as it is done electronically using your own device (Cell phone in my case). I later found out that I could have done it from the comfort of my home home, even before showing up there!The reception lady was super friendly and professional and assisted me in the admission process very quickly (first impressions do matter!).The nurses and the staff were more than accommodating and courteous and actually offered wheel chairs and crouches to make me feel and walk more comfortably.The physician who treated me (who I am intentionally not identifying here to protect her privacy) was, despite of all the pain and discomfort of the situation, extremely professional, patient and knowledgeable and possibly spent 20-30 minutes going over my knee examination, explaining my symptoms, reasons for the pain, the needed treatment and future means to avoid similar injury.I simply cannot recommend the UHealth Jackson Urgent Care Cutler Bay enough, this place and its team is amazing! This was my first visit to the Urgent Care Center and despite of the reasons, it was a remarkable one.

Honestly the best experience I’ve had at an Urgent Care! Kim was the most friendly and informative nurse possible. As well as Dr. Luis he was awesome!
