AFC Urgent Care East Meadow

I went to this facility for the first time today because I felt sick after going on a cruise. The front desk and staff were very nice. I rate 3 stars because, they only gave me a Covid test. No one examined me for anything else. I still feel bad. They could have did a strep test or listened to my lungs but they did none of that. The doctor didn’t even ask what my symptoms are. As a result, I have to go to another doctor for a more thorough examination.

Julie and Dr Ahmad are the best. From triage to meeting with the doctor it was like being with my family doctor. Dr Ahmad will be my place to go when I cannot get to my doctors. The team there is amazing. Loved the great treatment and why not julie the nurse who attended to me is a neighbor

I was feeling pretty terrible when I walked in. I was treated with kindness and care. I felt that I was being listened to and felt better than when I went in, knowing that I was being taken care of properly. Not my first time at this location. I’ve consistently received good care here.

This AFC clinic in East Meadow always clean upon the walk-in. The reception desk courteous and professional. The medical assistant Darleen and PA Juliana who provided care to my 11 year old were great, quick and professional. Thank you!

The support staff were all very kind and helpful and the facility was nice and very clean, however the doctor I saw was very dismissive and rude. I do not go to the doctor unless I feel seriously injured and like I really need to (rare). I injured my hand and overheard my doctor saying to a nurse "just give her an xray it's what these young kids want". I felt very uncomfortable here and not taken seriously at all. Next time I'll be smarter and schedule an appointment with an orthopedist instead of wasting my time.
