The place is well run and I recommend it. If they could find some adults to run the public address system it would be enjoyable. The juveniles who put the horrible annoying music on the PA could be informed that the people are elderly with weak hearing and weak eye sight.and would like to be friendly but can not because of the unwanted noise from the PA. It is quite frustrating.
My grandmother was staying here while we were waiting for her to be placed in a home closer to her caregivers(the family)
It was small and sometimes the staff didn't put in the effort that my grandma needed. She is 101 years old and needs help, she is our treasure.
But it was the only place she could go, and I suppose the alternative (homelessness) would be worse but this province needs to take a look at the lack of personnel and lack of care.
We just want to thank the great staff at Saint Joseph's who made our mothers last days at peace and comfortable. It is a great place that really cares about their residents. Thank you so much.
Kevin is an absolute amazing nurse in palliative unit. Extremely friendly and really compassionate when my mother passed away last night. I appreciate you taking care of her in her final nights.
My brother Leo passed away on July 11 in morning 6:am . The staff on the 3rd floor was amazing till the end . Thank you to the Doctor and the staff . My brother was there only 2 weeks. Again Thank you to all.
And keep up the great work.
