Mercy Health – Fairfield Hospital Acute Rehabilitation Unit

My wife received the most wonderful therapy from Mercy FF Inpatient Rehab. I searched and toured many facilities to insure she would receive the proper medical care to complement the therapy. Under the supervision of Dr. Hill, my wife's medical needs were completely met. The nursing staff was top notch! Anastasia was an exceptional nurse that showed incredible compassion in the overnight shifts. Every nurse was awesome! The therapist helped my wife regaine her ability to speak, eat and walk. Christina, Kara and Robin, I cannot thank you enough. I would not have believed what y'all achieved except I witnessed it with my own eyes! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

My wife had extensive back surgery just 2 weeks ago and spent 1 week in the hospital and then spent one week in the inpatient rehab at Mercy Fairfield. Her stay and care there was absolutely excellent. The work that they did to allow her rehab to duplicate her settings at home (height of the bed, stair heights for the entrances to the home) was just phenomenal. By the time they were able to release her, in one week, she was able to walk better than she has in over 5 years. Thx to everyone for your support and patience. I would highly recommend this for anyone needed rehab.

After undergoing an unexpected and severe surgery, my husband stayed at Mercy Fairfield for three weeks. I basically lived there, as well l, so I speak from both his and my experience when I stare that I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff and service there. Everyone from the staff on the surgery unit and ICU to those on the rehabilitation floor and the café downstairs exuded compassion and empathy, along with a dedication to the service of the people here. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mercy Fairfield to anyone in need of both knowledgeable and compassionate care.

The team at Mercy Fairfield ARU were incredible to my dad. His care was top notch and the attention to his feelings were appreciated. The communication between the team and our family was consistent, including team rounding several days a week. The team took time and had patience with a man who is hard of hearing and cantankerous at times. I highly recommend the ARU at Mercy Fairfield.

My husband had 2 mini strokes and also has Parkinson’s. I can say Mercy’s Rehabilitation center has the most amazing /caring therapist ❤️and Nurses! Dr. Heis is wonderful Doctor and stayed on top of all his health issues. With top physical therapy, fantastic speech, therapist and wonderful occupational therapist. We treated like family. My husband is walking out here better than when he came in before the stroke. We are very pleased and would highly recommend coming to Mercy Fairfield Inpatient rehabilitation center. Here at Mercy you are invited to a monthly gathering to show off your recovery and socialize with other recovering patient . Thank you Mercy Fairfield fo such wonderful care❤️
