Select Physical Therapy – Fountain Valley

After a injuring my knee and hand, I initially had physical therapy at two different PT facilities. With the third round, I went to Select Physical Therapy in Fountain Valley for both physical therapy for my knee and occupational therapy for my hand. As the saying goes, the third time was the charm. For my knee, the therapists at Select PT took the time to review my past therapy plan, evaluate my present condition, and build a therapy plan based on my physical capabilities and goals. They have also reevaluated my progress periodically to add and amend exercises to keep my progress moving forward.I worked exclusively with Patrick for the occupational therapy on my hand/thumb. Although I only had 6 visits, I had more improvement from his therapies and treatment plan than I have had since I started having symptoms more than a year ago. His plan included simple exercises which I can do easily while watching TV, or even sitting at a traffic light. Because they are so simple and accessible, it is easy to follow the plan and I am very pleased with the progress. I would also add that all of the staff, from the receptionists to the therapists, have been friendly and pleasant to deal with. If you are looking for a good place to have PT or OT, look no further. Select PT in Fountain Valley is the place to go!

Everyone here truly cares about the persons recovery journey. I appreciate each person that helped me; everyone is so friendly. My care was thoroughly explained to me and exercises were taught so that I could do them at home. Thank you. Martin, Stacy, Tan, and the 2 ladies at the front that help me work through my insurance stuff so that I didnt miss any sessions.

Stacy did a very thorough evaluation of my injury and I was very impressed with her evaluation and the interest she took in my well being as well as the PT instruction.

I have to mention Martin! He is one of the physical therapists there. He pays attention to every detail in your plan of care. Each activity is tailored to your injury. With his help, I was able to calm my neck, back, and shoulder stiffness/pain. My injuries have caused many headaches and sleepless nights, so I was glad that Martin was able to address all those discomforts during PT. I really appreciate what Martin and his team have done for me. They are the most social people I know. Shout-out to all the PT assistants who worked with me. They really know how to keep you entertained during challenging exercises. They are the best cheerleaders for your recovery! Everyone should stay for Martin's massages! It helps with muscle stiffness and inflammation! P.S: Martin will throw in strengthening exercises! Be on the lookout. They are challenging. But Martin claims it is for your own good.
