Firstly, my boyfriend called Westbrook inquiring about an appointment in the near future. They were able to schedule him in the very next day. Couldn't be more pleased. My boyfriend and I traveled five hours just so he could attend his appointment. Staff at the recovery center seemed helpful and polite, we had no issues at all. All young ladies were working the desks and front; they were doing a fabulous job. They worked hard and efficiently. I recommend Westbrook to anyone seeking help; It truly seems like the nurses care about helping you.

Don't get fooled! This practice is terrible and views their patients as $ and NOTHING more. I think it says a lot that most insurance companies will not carry them as providers.I'm in Greenville and when I relocated here from Northern Michigan, Westbrook was one of the only practices around that was accepting new Suboxone patients. Basically, I had little choice in becoming a patient if I wanted to continue my Suboxone treatment. After 6 years of being a patient and having spent thousands of dollars on treatment at Westbrook, I ran into some financial trouble and was having trouble paying the $95 monthly office visit. I was told by the office manager that my long term commitment to their office meant nothing and that they were not in the business of helping 'financial hardship cases' and that I should find another provider (at issue was fact that I had to miss an appointment because I was unable to pay the $95 fee at the moment. By the time I was able to afford it, I was over their 45day time limit and therefore had to be considered a new patient and pay $280 new patient fee plus an extra $95 for additional visit. Mind you, I had never ran out of Suboxone nor missed any dosing and again, had been a patient for over 6 years). So to boil it down, because I had gone a few days over their 45 day policy, they were trying to squeeze me for an extra $280. The office manager had the audacity to try telling me that government regulations dictated that their policy be as such. Lol!Over the years, I've watched the practice become a Suboxone clearing house. They churn out 100's of patients per month at a minimum of $95 per patient (office visit fee has increased steadily too. When I began, an office visit was $80). They've grown from Dr Baker plus 1 Physician Assistant (PA) to five or 6 PAs, each writing dozens of Suboxone scripts per day, obviously highly profitable. As far as I was able to gather, the practice gives back ZERO to the community, offering NO help financially, regardless how long you've been a patient, regardless of how little impact it would have on their bottom line. They're just substituting one drug for another. Suboxone is just as addictive (and withdrawal just as severe) as any other opioid and they know it. 100s (perhaps more) of dedicated Suboxone-dependent junkies, not a bad racket, eh?!?Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. Somewhere they care about you as a patient, and not just about size of your wallet. Find a practice that will help you to wain off of opioids, versus just pushing another.

I drove 5 hours and paid but got nothing because of benzos in my system which I stopped taking week ago.they said they would call back but they didn't. I seen dr smith in the early year but discontinued because I had the problem under control now I'm back on the streets .getting them .they only want to bill your insurance .I'm very dissatisfied with this place and would not reccomend it to anybody.nothing wrong with hiring ex addicts but they dont do their job. THANK YOU DR SMITH .

Worst clinic i have ever been too they are only there to take ur money not to help with ur addiction. They had kicked me out the clinic after months of prescribing a drug they knew was very addictive. They did not even wean me off the medivation so i ended up in the hospital but they still kept my 10p dollars. Again this is not a place that is there to help with ur addiction this is a place full of money hungry docters who could care less about ur well being. I stronglt recommend finding a different clinic that is there to work with you through you addiction and not just looking to fill there wallet. This docter had no concern about what would happen to me after i left so i ended up in the hospital because these docters dont know the effects suboxone has on a person and how addictive it truly is i was nvr told about the come down of this medication i had to find out myself and i will tell you its 100 times worse than withdrawal from any other drug. Plz take this advice and do not let these doctors do what they did to me. Everyone in this clinic should feel horrible for wat they do to people they are not there to help they are there to make there wallets thicker from your suffering completly unprofessional.

I see different doctors every once and a while, and they're all nice as can be and the receptionists are friendly and polite.
