Houston Children’s Dental Center

I had surgery here and I waited three hours past my appointment time. It was freezing cold in this building due to no heating. People were nice and professional and the nurses were super sweet but the wait times were horrendous.

Everyone was nice and courteous. The wait was not long. Everything was explain to me and my son who has autism. The place was clean very well manage. I'm grateful for this place that helps children and Young adults who are afraid of going to the dentist. I thank each and all the staff for being kind and helpful. Way to go

First off, they need to fix the address because it takes you to another nicer dental office in front, so I had my hopes up. I was wrong. My daughter was really nervous so we were referred there. I hated it. The place reminded me of a terminal at a bus station rather than a dental office. The wait was too long while the area stunk. When we finally see the doctor he kept pushing to get the story of my daughter’s hospitalizations. She told him about the things that were relevant. Then he started pushing. Talking about how we are all good and if we work hard, good things will happen to us. I felt like he was trying to preach to my daughter. It was so intense and I could tell my daughter was about to cry so I had to step in. I think he was embarrassed because of my answer and how pushy he was. The last 2 minutes were awkward. They walked us down a hallway to stand in a line and I almost threw up. The smell of poop was so intense we left before checking out. We are never going back.

I give five stars, honestly I could complain. There is a major wait time, even for consultations. THIS IS NOT THE FAULT of the establishment, or staff. I've taken my daughter to two facilities prior to this one. The first one that created the dental issue, the second Jamboree which just couldn't manage scheduling properly. My daughter has basically endured pure torture from other facilities. Coming to Houston Children's, driving many miles, it sincerely opened my eyes; I'm not the only parent driving many miles. This facility, and it's staff are a golden nugget amongst a field of fools gold. There is a great need for the services provided here, and I truly pray that this facility would be able to have more locations for the growing need. As for now, there is a wait, so be prepared... But when it comes to our children, THIS IS THE BEST

I had appointments for my daughter and son. Staff took me in circle on my sons referral and never got a proper update so they’re appointments were canceled 2 times so couldn’t schedule them together like it was MY FAULT they’re got cancelled. They wouldn’t work with me when I tried explaining. I have 4 kids and just had a baby so keeping there appointments together was really crucial to me but they don’t care , talking about emergencies or whatever can’t be that much of an emergency cause they didn’t care when it came to my child.
