My wife and I had a great experience here in this hospital. Free 24/7 parking. Mega hospital super big inside with lots of different departments so you can get all your visits in one place. They do everything here in house. We recommend this hospital but if we lived closer to Overlake that was our 1st choice. There is a Starbucks on site in which is very convenient. They cafe is also pretty decent with actually good food not the typical hospital gross food. We give this hospital a 4/5 stars only because I felt some of the Nurses and Dr's didn't really care for my wife to our expectations. In general I'd suggest go to Overlake in Bellevue if you can and use Swedish in Issaquah as your second choice.

If I can rate zero I would this place is a disgrace to medical care. I was told I can not be seen there for OB Care with a mid wife because I was to fat . Also they didn't want to schedule me for a regular obgyn for regular ultrasound visits . When I first spoke with them they kept on saying midwife and I never asked for one. I just want what every mom gets for the prenatal care I was confused . I was givin the run around by the schedule staff. Ect I would NEVER go here to deliver or get care sooooooo unprofessional. O stars is my rating.

I had a very bad experience with Swedish in Issaquah. I was on the low risk spectrum of my pregnancy with no issues at all during the entire pregnancy. But after a 40 hour labor I had to deliver by a c section. As it was my first baby I had very little knowledge about things. They did not induce me or give me the option for other methods to make vaginal birth possible. Even after the c section I developed a very bad infection and had to get the wound dressed again and again for 3 weeks after my delivery. I wish I had never gone there.

It's been over a year since I had my surgery with Dr. Schwartzenburg. Held off leaving a review until I had proper perspective. I was climbing the walls with anxiety beforehand because it was my first major surgery since an extremely bad experience (elsewhere, not with him or with Swedish at all). He's a surgeon, so it makes sense that he was focused on the procedural aspects. He's got a specialized job to do, and he did an excellent job. See, with a surgery, the long-term is what counts, not the relatively short time spent terrified leading up to it, or even the immediate aftercare. The long-term is what a person lives with. The longer you live, the greater the benefit if it's done right, which it was in my case. The careful work he did led to a quick recovery and zero complications this far out. I can't see or know the internal stuff but it healed so well that there was no decrease in strength or range of motion. Whatever he rearranged or tied down (I know it's much more complicated!) he did it so well that I can trust my core strength and flexibility without thinking about it. No other functions are negatively impacted. Externally, two of the tiny scars are so faint you can only see them close up and if they're pointed out. One is still visible but it's pretty faint. By this time next year it will probably have faded out, too. I wish I could go back and tell my past self to calm down. The worry was unwarranted and the long-term aspects are top-notch. From my perspective, Dr. S knows what he's doing and does it well.

Showed up 15 minutes early for my appointment. Got all checked in, and sent to the waiting are. Sat there for a good 45 minutes. I finally asked reception desk how much longer I could expect to wait. I was then notified that they had cancelled my appointment and shouldn't have been able to check in. They also said they tried to call me. I had a missed call from them, but no message was ever left and no other attempt was made to contact me. They also informed me they would not be able to get an appointment for me that day. So, essentially I wasted hours of my time and time taken off work, to drive to my scheduled appointment and sit in a waiting room for no reason. Ridiculous and unprofessional. I will be looking elsewhere for a provider and recommend others do the same.
