Don't be misled by the bucolic name, while the staff is mostly pleasant and competent Sun River Health and Wellness is basically like going to a Walmart for healthcare. No one answers the phone, appointments are made months in advance, you can not see the same doctor and the front-line of care is provided by a rotating cast of residents.

If 0 stars were possible I would give that. This is the WORST medical facility you could possibly go to. The doctors have no knowledge of medicine or health, the staff is not terrible, they will intentionally mess up your medications and prescriptions, they usually no-show telehealth appointments. I have to find a new doctor after years of this mess.

While the majority of the staff is pleasant, over the last 7 months I have been a patient here, I rarely see the same doctor, so there is no ability to build a relationship. I don’t feel like I’m being listened to sometimes and it shows. There have been no less than 3 appointments where whichever doctor I was seeing had no idea I was on a particular medication because although I’ve gone over my history and detailed my current medications while doing new patient paperwork, it never makes it on my file. Scary. When I saw one of the numerous providers I’ve seen for the first and only time, one of my prescriptions was never called in and it took me 7 phone calls, numerous “escalations” and TWO WEEKS to get my prescription called in. Mind you, no one called me, I had to call them numerous times. I am way too busy to deal with this aggravation and this place is adding stress to my life. My husband was at an appointment there and his blood pressure had been taken by the nurse’s aide. When the doctor came in she was very alarmed over my husband’s “dangerously high” blood pressure and was about to send a prescription over to our pharmacy for high blood pressure when he stopped her and let her know he never has high blood pressure. The doctor took it again and what do you know? Totally normal reading. I guess they track the blood pressure readings they take at every appointment as well as they track which medications their patients take.

Had a great initial appointment with Dr Softness several years ago, but this clinic doesn't function as primary care. There's no continuity between appointments - I've been passed off between residents from year-to-year with no way to build a relationship with a PCP who is aware of my medical history and self. The phone system requires going through a phone tree for the entire Sun River system; there's no way to contact your providers other than through a glitchy online portal, and I've never received a callback when one was requested. The reception staff here is very friendly - this seems like a good clinic for some purposes, but extremely disappointed in it as a primary care facility. Will be finding a new doctor.
