I was a patient here about 2 weeks ago, I honestly was so scared to come here but who wouldn’t be? But I went through with the process and ended up having a pretty good experience here. I made amazing friends who were so supportive and who I could relate to. They honestly ended up being like family to me, and I felt so comfortable around them. I as well created bonds with certain staff who made things feel so much better. Staff and peers both supported me so much, this place taught me so many things and without it I don’t think I would have been able to make the progress that I’ve made in my recovery. Citlalli was especially so so helpful. She gave me the reassurance that I needed and she helped me to feel understood and comforted. My therapist was so helpful and supportive as well. Of course there are pros and cons to being here and everyone’s experience is different, but I personally made a lot of good memories that I’ll forever cherish and keep close to my heart. :) The groups helped me a lot and helped me to become more comfortable with speaking up for myself. Staff would sometimes joke and play around with us as well which helped the experience become more enjoyable and more comfortable. Even though there are many good things to this place, there’s also cons that come along with it. My peers and I sometimes would have problems with the staff but most of the times the problems were resolved. It also would feel very draining at times being here and doing the same things everyday but you have to just keep pushing forward and keep on finding motivation and keep it close to you. If your coming here, don’t be afraid!! You’ve got this!💗

All staff and personnel were amazing. My daughter did very well when she was there. And engaging in family groups and 1 on 1. We're wonderful for us. What a great place for the kiddos.

i had a really good experience here. you learn so much more about how to help yourself cope beyond just your eating disorder. the staff are all extremely supportive and the treatment team helps you get exactly the help you need. the therapists here are amazing too, they actually help you instead of just listening and nodding. i felt like there were issues with the female therapist with not being receptive to patient feedback and unprofessional/harmful responses, but the male therapist was really great. the dietician is also really sweet and supportive. my favorite staff were dolly, megan, sassy, and sean. this is the best mental health treatment facility ive been to, but if you come here expecting to be magically cured or just focusing on leaving as soon as possible you're going to struggle. if you dont want a bad experience, you have to be open to treatment and actually want to help yourself and put the work in too
