I paid $150 to consult with Dr. Clarke, and that was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made about my health. It’s always my intention to support black owned businesses when I can, but when I do, I expect professionalism and respect. That is the exact opposite of what I received during my appointment. I visited back in July, and during the initial intake, we discussed my social history, including my disability. I am blind, and the doctor noted it on my chart. She then took it upon herself to skip over the entire employment history section of my chart because she dug right into her bag of ableism and decided I couldn’t possibly be employed. It wasn’t until I started mentioning work stress in my life that she stopped and asked me and was surprised about my job. When I informed her that I am in fact a practicing attorney, she offered me a weak apology acknowledging her very ignorant assumption about me. I decided to let it go and continue with my appointment. That was a mistake. I discussed my concerns with her, and my reasons for coming to see her, and it didn’t take her long to come out her mouth questioning my husband‘s ability to remain faithful to me so long as my problems persist. I made it very clear to her that I have never and will never have any questions about my husband, but the fact that I came to her seeking help for a problem and then had to spend time defending my marriage really put me over the edge. I left my visit feeling incredibly angry and disrespected, but it only got worse when it took her almost 2 weeks to follow up with me regarding a prescription she was supposed to write for me. Nevermind that she tried to overcharge me for the medication, but I have since left her not one but two separate messages regarding the medication and I have yet to receive a call back from her. But that’s OK, because at this point I would never again work with this woman, and I’m honestly surprised that she is allowed to practice medicine! Do yourself a favor, and avoid this practice at all costs. ZERO STARS

I received an IV Hydration and it was amazing. I feel so much better. I was very sluggish tired and just not feeling like myself. I can honestly say this has helped me get back in the groove by replenishing the nutrients was body was missing. Brittany was truly amazing. I have a fear of needles and she was very gentle and patient. I will be returning.

I’ve been to a few different med spas and so far they have been THE BEST!! I got a little over a syringe of lip filler here a few weeks ago and they look incredible. The injector and all of the staff was so so sweet. They injected lidocaine (I think) beforehand to make sure it was a totally painless procedure which is different than some of the other spas I’ve been to. They are genuinely the sweetest and they best and I can’t say enough nice things about them. My lips look amazing now ~3 weeks later. 10/10 would recommend.

Dr. Clarke is the BEST! She is kind and very easy to work with. She always takes the time to listen to my concerns, give me her honest feedback and provide the greatest service. She has made me feel so beautiful that even after moving out of state, I still come back to Laurel to see her. I highly recommend A Better You!!

My goodness if I could this place and DR Clarke 10 stars! A year ago I went to get a filler and DR Clarke looked at my face and she said you don’t need it , she said what you need is a chemical peel. I have never met a private practitioner who is turning down money. I end up getting the filler only at that time and boy she did such an amazing job. A few weeks ago I went back to get my filler and she was like you should just get the chemical peel. Long story short I got the vi chemical peel. This morning I washed my face and face looks amazinggggg! Make me look 10 years younger. So grateful for you DR Clarke. I can never go to another place after meeting her. She is very sweet, very professional and rather than on collecting $$ , she focuses on what you only need. Thank you again Dr Clarke !!
