I have been going to the Institute of Facial and Oral Surgery for years. Have seen Gaynor for a variety of facial treatments and she is the best. I have also seen Dr. Patel and Dr. Aurora and they are always very patient and take my concerns into consideration and deliver great results.

If I could give 100 stars I would! I just got five teeth pulled today! And I have little to no pain right now. Dr.patel is amazing and so is his staff best experience I have ever had with an oral surgeon! Thank you Dr. Patel!!❤️

I needed an extraction because of a failing tooth that was causing a lot of pain. Dr. Patel and his staff were very friendly, professional, and informative in every aspect of the treatment. The extraction itself was quick and painless. I did not want to be sedated, so I opted for local anesthesia. I was awake the whole time and felt no discomfort at all. The post operative instructions were comprehensive and clear. They worked with my insurance and the billing was exactly what they had estimated. Overall, this was a superb experience. I was very impressed with the kindness, care, and skill of Dr. Patel and his team. I am now pain free, and very happy with the results. If you need an oral surgeon, I highly recommend this group.

Everyone is super friendly here and made my visit very enjoyable. Gaynor is lovely and my results are amazing! Dr. Arora is kind and listened to my concerns. I am very happy with my results. I had a great experience both times I was here and highly recommend this practice for all your facial and skin care needs.

I was referred to Dr. Patel by Dr Hukmani at Lansdowne Orthodontics to have jaw surgery (a mandibular osteotomy I believe) as part of my orthodontic treatment to address an overbite. I had done a sleep study that diagnosed me with severe sleep apnea, surgical treatment was a suggestion from the sleep study as well. I also had an appointment with an ENT who advised that the jaw surgery would have a profound impact. So there were several doctors in agreement that this would be beneficial for me.I was informed of the risks that come with surgery and the cost of the procedure was discussed. I did not get any surprise costs and I went into it knowing that he was out of network for my insurance, so I would be paying more out of pocket. There was a little hiccup as I did not give them sleep study paperwork before the prior authorization was submitted, so that is on me. It was approved once they had sleep study paperwork.The surgery went well. I was very swollen and tired for a while, as was expected. I should note that I also had two teeth removed, and one of the plates removed on separate occasions in addition to the jaw surgery.Overall I am thrilled with the results. I am glad that I had the surgery, the cost and recovery were well worth it. There is a huge improvement with my breathing. I am also happy to report that according to my family, I no longer sound like a freight train when I am sleeping, so they are enjoying that benefit. I don’t feel that the aesthetic results look unnatural, I still very much look like myself which makes me happy.Dr Patel is a skilled and knowledgable surgeon and was worth going out of network for. The staff have always been kind and informative, they were always able to answer my questions. My experience with Dr. Patel and the staff at Institute of facial and oral surgery was fantastic.
