2 years agoNursing home is chronically understaffed. Staffing is frequently covered by temporary people who do not know the residents or their particular needs. Residents are left to fend for themselves much of the time with a staff member occasionally checking in on them. There are some longterm employees that truly care about the residents but they have little support so care is stretched very thin. Patients wander aimlessly through the hallways with minimal activities available. No particular care is given to ensure residents have their false teeth in, glasses on or hearing aids in.

8 years agoHVH is a well run, caring place for our community seniors who require care. As a town we are fortunate to have HVH in our midst, and for those of us who are fortunate enough to have loved ones live there - peace of mind that they are receiving top quality care.
