Please, please do not have a loved one of family or friend sent to this facility!! My Mother was there for 4 days and did not receive some of her medication and resulted in a trip to a local hospital where it was found she had a blood clot from not receiving her medication. Being a post op patient she deserved care to and from the restroom, but no one came at night to help her.

I went in to see my mother 12 hours after intake. Her bed was soaked. They gave a one armed woman with no teeth 15 minutes to eat. She is bed ridden and the coffee is outside in the hallway. She was told to "just get used to it" and "I don't like the way you talk to me" by staff. She cannot reach the phone. They refused to dial my number for her.If this is their level of care, I'm taking her somewhere else.

I had to put my mom in a 24 hour facility about 4 years ago because her health was declining and she could no longer live independently. I wrestled with the fact that it was the right thing to do. It is comforting to have the staff of Ashton Health to assist me with her care. I love the care she receives and her interaction she has with all of the staff. My mom is no longer mobile but I have some wonderful nurses like Buffy and Becky to help me day and night to make sure she has a quality life and she gets the care she needs. Front desk staff also pitches in to help as well like Wendy and Harmony. Thank you Ashton Health Staff!

I spent several months in Ashton Place recovering from a stroke and heart failure. I'm 41 years old and I had no idea what to expect from living in a nursing home. The facility is very clean and the atmosphere is good. It's active enough to stay stimulated but not so much that it's overwhelming. The facility is REALLY clean and the food is good too. Playing bingo was definitely my favorite thing to do. People get crazy in bingo! Ha! It was a little scary.I healed in ways that were unexpected. Therapy was EXCELLENT and the PT and OT teams were able to help me go from completely immobile (totally bedridden) to being able to sit upright and function with every day tasks. The staff was remarkably patient with me if I lashed out because of pain or fear. Watching the way that some of the staff handled distressed patients taught me how to react when people are explosive. No one wants to be a paralyzed 41 yo! My entire life is different now and I'm so grateful for ALL of the emotional and physical healing that took place because of the Ashton Place team. So grateful.

My Grandmother has been here for a little over a year now and I couldn’t be more happier with the care she is getting each and everyday! From her nurse to her CNA’S they just love her and I see how well they treat her and she loves them as well. I Can go home at night and rest knowing my Grandmother is being taken care of properly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who has a loved one needing care and a place to stay!
