The staff, the services and the facility were top tier for healing and rehabilitation after our recent medical adventure involving our elderly mother's fall and resulting cracks in her hip bones. The team approach for all services (admission, assessments, care planning, nursing, wound treatment, PT, OT, nutrition and communications with the family) was much appreciated. There was a clear continuity of care across all shifts, meeting all her needs. Particularly impressive was the frequency of heads poking in the room just to check on her, talk to mom, to assure her she was not alone; appreciated, loved and well supported. This was pivotal in her comfort and healing process. Special thanks to the whole of the team that I met on the 2nd floor; Aaron, Carl, Sarah, Ellyssia, Michelle, Amber, Angela, Quinnell, Patrick, Indria, Jamie Lee, Leah, Anna, Karolina, Sydney, Amy, Olivia, Alexi, and especially Matt in PT (mom has a crush on you!).. sorry if I missed anyone!!?? Also to Marianella in admissions, and Deanna as discharge planner. Truly a family, working together and loving their work and the people in their care. Many many thanks!!
Lovely facility. Always clean, fresh smelling. Very attentive, friendly and caring staff. Keep patients engaged and family members updated. Church services and Bible studies are a plus. Strongly recommend this place
Our family had a very positive experience at Water’s Edge. The staff was friendly and attentive. Not only did they care for our family member who was the patient but also making sure his primary care person who was visiting from morning till evening was comfortable and felt informed and with all services provided to the patient. Thank you very much to Water’s Edge nursing staff for their professionalism and compassion during a time of transition for our family member.
I must say I am
pleased with a young lady by the name Chantel my mom is in the rehab unit and must I say this young lady goes beyond for her residents especially my mom I felt so comfortable leaving my mom there at the facility my mother never been to a nursing home before and she was scared Chantel talked to her and made her feel welcomed and comfortable on her break she came in the room with me and my mother and played uno and talked and we laughed. After getting to know her and my mom smiling I felt as though it was safe to leave my mom. Clean environment and great staff! Food isn’t quite that good my mother said only bad thing
Came to visit a family member as I do often and had the pleasure of meeting a new aid, Alex. He was pleasant, attentive, and kind hearted, and did WONDERFUL job for his THIRD DAY! Thank you Alex for all you did for my family and her roommate.
