Empowerment Center

Hilary is amazing and has supported me for many years in and out of a lot of hard times. Whether it’s in person or in the office, I always feel Comfortable with bringing up any subject to work on or to learn new tools. She does not judge me on how I feel or where I’ve been or where I’m going. She assists me on having the right perspective and looking at the big picture.

I spent my first 45 years of life resisting therapy. My belief was that someone who didn't know me or understand my life couldn't possibly guide or help me. What I have come to realize, it is quite literally the only way it CAN work.It is nearly impossible to verbalize the impact Hilary and The Empowerment Center have had in my life. What will soon be 6 years ago, my husband passed. For the first time in my life I recognized there was something I couldn't overcome alone. Fate intervened and landed me in Hilarys office. Day 1 I walked in with walls a mile high, trying not to cry. Now, I could go in in my pajamas with a pillow.The patience, attention and time they are willing to invest is unmatched. This is NOT an old school, clock watching type of place. These are a group of people genuinely want to help in any way they can! They are caring and invested! They even find ways to help those they can't help!I can't say this clearly enough, I don't know where i would be without Hillary and The Empowerment Center.Nearly 6 years and I am in an even better place than I wanted or hoped I would ever be. This isn't an 'in small part because of' it is a 'LARGELY IN PART OF' SITUATION.THANK YOU HILLARY AND THE EMPOWERMENT CENTER.
