I have been a patient of Dr. G for nearly 20 years (my wife and two small children are also patients), and I can confidently say that her practice is exceptional in every way. From the moment you walk into the office, you are greeted by the friendliest staff who always make you feel welcome. Dr. G is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also incredibly compassionate and attentive.Dr. G can do it all. In short, she transformed my smile! I am grateful for the excellent dental care I have received over the years and highly recommend Dr. G to anyone seeking a top-notch dentist.

Dr. G is always there when you need her. Everyone is so helful and accommodating. She has been my dentist for more than 15 years I think. Changed insurance 5 times already but made sure to not change my dentist. She is the best.

When it comes to no wait times, being professional, and having access to advanced technology for x-rays, I’d give this visit a thumbs up. Yet, for my overall experience of being swindled, I give multiple thumbs down.First off, I blame myself. I called around to multiple dentist offices to work with a naturopathic dentist, on a budget. As many times as I mentioned to the receptionists, Tania in particular, that I desire to see that particular type of dentist, no one ever corrected me. No one made it clear that I was paying out of pocket to be examined by another allopathic doctor. Again, my fault because I should have done more research on her instead of thinking l found my match. I now have to locate what naturopathic site I found her on and report that. The pathway Dr. Carrie suggested for my son is the most invasive. The doctor a month prior provided different options to care for the tooth, SDF for example, but she stated the only options were a pulpotomy or root canal. And again, I chose go out my way and pay out of pocket because I wanted to hear more holistic options. Very disappointing to know that I paid for a regular doctor’s visit in which my insurance covered at other locations.Other issues: 1. Providers who do not refer to their patients my name, very impersonal; makes me feel like I’m just a number. Thank you to Jackie who was the only person to refer to my son by name.2. Dr. Carrie wasn’t fully transparent when it came to discussing what the treatment options were. It took me further inquiring for her to say, after the root canal, there is another procedure to do the filling. It’s like she wanted me to do the root canal and then find out there’s something I have to do next. She wasn’t aware of any damaging implications of removing one’s nerve endings, so that’s what made me inquire about the teeth’s connection to the organs. When she didn’t know that all the teeth were connected to organs, and then assumed that children teeth are not connected to the organs, I was confused. Although I haven’t done thorough research to be aware of the difference in connection, I would think a naturopathic doctor learned this in training. So I asked, “wait, you didn’t learn this in school or in training?”, and she said no. And that’s my fault, I should’ve asked, ‘they didn’t teach you this in your naturopathic training?’ That’s when I should’ve known she wasn’t a holistic dentist! Yet, when you don’t ask clear enough questions, people can plead the fifth. It wasn’t until I was leaving the office and looking at the certificates on the wall and I didn’t notice any formal training as a naturopath. So I asked, and that’s when I found out that I made a mistake. She said she did a training that teaches her how to use treatments that are of that naturopathic nature (ie. she is trained on how to properly remove mercury, and offers healthier options for fillings instead of the metals most allopathic/western doctors suggest and have on hand). Extremely disheartened at that moment. Unfortunately it’s hard for me to express my disappointment and anger until I’ve processed it and wow, I’m upset with myself for not listening to my intuition and for not doing a deeper dive. I trusted that I was going to a naturopathic doctor because no one corrected me and said, wait, you’re not. I am filled with so much integrity, that if someone called me telling me what I shared with them, I would have made it clear that this is not the doctors office you are looking for. Yet, this is a learning lesson to thoroughly research the schools and certifications a doctor has; I will never make that mistake again.3. I do not align with doctors that are dismissive of what the patient is going through. I appreciate Dr. Carrie for giving me a moment to attempt to show her but she didn’t give a thorough examination of the cheeks of his mouth. If there’s concern, do your best to find what they are experiencing instead of explain it away. I now have a picture of where he said it hurts and it’s nowhere near what she said it was.

What a dentist, and what a team! They are perfect in every way. I’ve had the unfortunate pleasure of being to many other dentists in my lifetime, and came to Dr. Guiliano some years ago with anxiety around dental work. I can’t even remember what dental anxiety means anymore! Gentle and skillful is an understatement to describe the skills of this provider. All the staff are wonderful, caring humans who are great at their job. My family and I travel to this dental office, and frankly we don’t know how we would ever go anywhere else. Our kid loves going here and waits with excitement for her checkups. Dr. G uses modern technology, and safe updated techniques for treatments such as amalgam removal. A rare gem of a doctor!

Dr G is a fantastic dentist and always provides a top notch experience. I’ve been a patient for over a decade, even when I haven’t lived in NY. I never switched and would come for my exams whenever I was passing through. The office is very well equipped to take care of most every need onsite, including making crowns on the spot. The entire staff is warm and welcoming and it’s always a pleasure to see everyone. Rosa and Tanya are super nice and have been with Dr G for as long as I've been a patient. Jen is also a wonderful hygienist, kind and full of good advice. I really appreciate a practice that cares about providing a consistent experience whoever you interact with, and is accessible to patients for any concerns between appointments. I would highly recommend.
