Dentistry: UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital

Horrible experience here. My son’s teeth were not properly cared for after coming here for 2 years he is now afraid of the dentist. They accept medical but are money hungry because they try to prolong treatment into several appointments to make you come back as many times as possible to get insurance .

Brought my son in, severe tooth pain. After his appointment I was told we would get a call back for a tooth extraction appointment within a day or so for his baby tooth that had cracked. He missed 2 whole weeks of school because of my having to constantly rub orajel and give Tylenol. I finally get ahold of somebody after a week of calling and leaving voice-mail for them to tell me they have no record of him needing an extraction and they can't help me, I had to press the issue, and all to speak to someone who can help us, then they then told me to just walk in. And come to be evaluated for the pain. Like yall didn't take x-rays of the crack and tell me it needs to be extracted already Smh.

Very very bad customer service ..
