This place doesn’t deserve any stars. My wife had OB visits at several Women’s Center locations, this was the worst. They scheduled my wife with Vega instead of our chosen Doctor Guerrero. I wouldn’t call Vega a doctor based on his arrogant, pretentious, and condescending attitude. The reception staff insisted we had to see Vega for an induction THAT DAY (Thursday), despite Guerrero’s scheduled appointment for Monday. An older, rude receptionist who I had to tell her to drop the attitude since my wife is not talking to her that way. We reluctantly met Vega. Experience: • Vega came into the room with an attitude, saying “I HEARD YOU HAVE A PROBLEM”. Before she could say anything, he cut her off about the baby’s weight and her age and results of her last results that she must have an induction. • Vega held a paper in his hands, supposedly her medical records, showing she is high risk. When she asked to see them, he acted like a child, saying, “NO, THESE ARE MY NOTES.” My wife calmly replied that’s fine; I have seen those records before. He immediately retorted, “WHERE?” She said other offices gave her results to her (since legally she is allowed to have her own test results). He didn’t seem impressed by the fact she has received her test results in the past. Also to be clear, even though we have yet to receive the results he claimed he had showing high risk. • When my wife tried to ask a question, he literally cut her off and kept saying word for word, “Doesn’t matter what you say; my answer will be the same.” She tried again to speak, saying, “I just want to understand,” and he cut her off again, “Doesn’t matter what you say; my answer will be the same.” I finally said, “Can you at least let her finish and stop cutting her off? You have no idea what she wants to say or ask.” Then he said, “THIS IS NOT BURGER KING!” I asked again what Burger King had to do with my wife’s pregnancy. Then he said the same thing again: “YOU CAN’T HAVE IT YOUR WAY!” I said again, “I don’t care about Burger King. She is listening to you talk; can you not do the same and listen?” He again repeated, “Doesn’t matter what you say; my answer will be the same.” • It was not until I saw a Burger King commercial that I realized this “donkey’s behind” was trying to sound witty while not listening to anything my wife had to say and forcing her to get an induction. It’s quite pathetic when I think about it; it’s like he thought up a comeback line and was hoping he would have the right scenario to use it. When it never came about, he decided to use the comeback phrase that had no relevance to the needs of his patient, and her concerns with her pregnancy, and tried to use an irrelevant or idiotic comeback line. This is done when someone usually have nothing substantive to contribute as a coping mechanism, deflection, or lacks the knowledge or ability to provide a meaningful response. Something you would not expect from a professional like our elected Doctor Guerrero compared to Vega. • Vega said that the baby was 7.5 lbs and, based on the baby’s weight and my wife’s age, she must be induced now. My wife’s health was perfect being over 35 eating healthily, not smoking or drinking. Our baby was born 6 lbs 14 oz. • Vega said to go help ourselves and go find another clinic if we were not looking to get induced at 39 weeks and wanted to go into labor on our own or wait till Monday. We had a scheduled meeting on Saturday (in 2 days) with Doctor Guerrero for a checkup. He then said we may or may not have an appointment. My wife asked if we do or don’t. Vega said we may not have an appointment when we come here, effectively forcing us to get an induction even though my wife was not emotionally, mentally, and physically ready. • When I told Vega you are giving us no choice, this “donkey’s behind” actually repeated the same Burger King phrase and walked out. The only reason I didn’t take things further was that my wife’s and baby’s health were the primary concern. I am glad he is moving to Atlanta, and thankful for any new mothers-to-be in Florida.

Highly disappointed, waited 2 hours for my scheduled appointment. Had a minimally invasive procedure and was offered no pain medication during or after. Drove home in a terrible amount of pain, it was so uncomfortable. Had to rush home and take pain medicine with a hot compress. Definitely felt like the process could’ve smoother, informative, and more empathetic

This place doesn't deserve any stars. I had OB visits during my pregnancy at multiple Women's center locations but this one is the worst out of all. Their check-in system won't let you check-in unless you consent to pelvic checks which I didn't want getting close to my due date. At another office location they kept saying that they wanted to induce me at 39 weeks for no other reason than my age. All my results and my baby's results were perfect. I kept politely declining this suggestion. They scheduled me for an appointment out of nowhere with Vega before my due date. No one called me to notify why, I just got a notification in the email. But I got a call on my due date that I was scheduled for an induction THAT DAY which I thought they just made a mistake. Then when I came in to see my elected doctor on the day of my due date I was told by the front desk I cannot see her and I NEED to see Vega. I asked to talk to my elected doctor, Guerrero which she declined which was a slap in the face since she was really nice during previous visits. She didn't even come out to explain why I can't see her just messaged through the front desk person. I reluctantly agreed to meet Vega because I still wanted to be checked but this was the most horrendous experience. He has no bedside manners, he was rude, he didn't want to give me MY medical records acting like a child. He threatened that if I don't go to induction immediately I will be fired as a patient and I will be "on my own". He shouldn't be a doctor let alone Chief. It makes no difference that now he is no longer here because unfortunately others are not better either. Do yourself a favor and go to another clinic or a doctor if you are not looking to get induced at 39 weeks and wanting to go into labor on your own.

Had a fantastic experience with the care and concern from Hannah Hickman, PA. She is attentive, knowledgable, and is thorough with the continuity of care with her patients. Hannah is a five-star provider! Four stars because the experience I had with another provider at the practice was so poor that I almost left this clinic.

Every appointment I've made has been rescheduled and I haven't been able to see my primary doctor (or even get an appointment with her, although I scheduled in advance and have had my appointments rescheduled multiple times). I really like to see Dr. Guerra because I feel that she gives me the most information. My last visit I was given a packet and I was just told to make appointments, but I had no idea what to expect (as a first time pregnant mom) during those appointments and what my options are for testing/ultrasounds/appts anything. I wanted to have the NIPT testing done, but only found out in a call that the NT is the only option and the person on the phone had no idea if/when I would be able to have testing done to find out the sex of the baby or be able to see my doctor. Also, I was told to make an appointment when I found out I was pregnant (5 weeks), but I was not told that confirmation of pregnancy starts with a heartbeat; if I was told that, then I would've waited and that would've saved me about $400 for an extra visit (instead of paying about $800 in one month). I feel like I have no information, no advocate in a health provider, and I'm unable to see the one doctor that really provided me with information. Another thing, I think the guest policy to make partners stand outside in 100 degree heat, with no chairs, or fans for the hour wait before appointments is completely absurd. I transferred to another practice and without even asking they gave me a run down of what all my appointments will look like and made sure I was fully aware of what care I would receive. They scheduled an appointment for all my testing and time to talk through the financing/insurance information. I feel like they’re supporting me fully as a patient and I haven’t even been to my first appointment.
