My husband is in here. Everyone is very nice. He loves going to the dining room. He loves the food. Even if he eats in his room the food is always hot. They do 1 on 1 therapy also. Also the place is very nice and clean! I'm so glad my husband came here.
Very clean facility. The staff is always talking to the residents, making their stay more enjoyable. Very helpful staff also. We are happy with The Pearl 1
I am the caretaker for a friend. He was at Pearl at the Tillers due to a broken arm, following a hip surgery. He got out of bed one evening, after waiting an hour and fell. The next day I received a call about a totally unrelated topic and this fall was mentioned at the end of the conversation. I asked why I wasn't notified the night before. They could not answer that. When I got to Tillers, he was x-rayed there, showing no breaks. He still complained about pain when moving his legs. On the sixth day, he was transported to the local hospital for further x-rays. This showed two fractures to his pelvic. I was not notified about the transport or x-ray results. Only found out over a month later when we got the bills. I walked in on management coaching him to say that he had fallen at home, not at the Tillers. Then they saw me listening and it got real quiet and they left. And they continued with therapy too. His overall health was on a big decline, he was dirty, not showered, and left in the same clothes for at least two weeks. And there were clean clothes there, and he was unchanged. On another note, the doctor's staff and nursing staff should be under review. Thankfully we got him out of there while he was still alive. After transferring him to another facility, the questions were asked about his medicines. Why was he on two stool softeners and Metamucil and then they added Imodium? A lot of the pills were not given at the correct time of day. Or that's what they wanted so he would sleep all day. After being at the new facility, he's gained weight, walking better and further, showered, and wearing clean clothes every day.
We love The Pearl at the Tiller's! Everyone is really happy to see us, we are welcome any time, and my mom gets a lot of attention. She gets physical and occupational therapy every day. She's made nice friends and is adjusting well. 🥰
My friend was sent here for rehab. She has loved it at the Tillers. When we visit her she’s happy and well cared for. The staff is friendly and she loves the food. We could not have been happier for her to be at the Pearl.
