Fairmount Primary Care Center

I'm writing this review specifically to give a shout-out of appreciation to Adonis. During a period when the office had lost a staff member and it was incredibly difficult to get through to referrals by phone, I spoke with Adonis in the office in person. Adonis went out of his way to make sure the message got to the appropriate person and followed up with me along the way to make sure I got the referral I needed. (My understanding is they've now hired someone for referrals so hopefully it's easier to get through now.) Thank you so much, Adonis!I've also been coming to this practice for my primary care and OBGYN appointments for the last seven years, and would be remiss if I didn't include Dr. Greta Stewart and Donna Sillman in this review. Their care over the years has kept me coming back.I'm using 4 starts here as I don't want to misrepresent the fact that this office is plagued with many of the administrative challenges that other doctors offices face, including the fact that it was difficult to get through to referrals in the first place. That being said, I appreciate this practice. I am grateful for the care I've received here, and extra grateful, given the occasional challenges, for Adonis, Dr. Stewart, and Donna.

All the doctors and staff here are very kind and helpful, this bad review has nothing to do with them. Please give more funding to this office so the staff does not have to deal with poor decision making from upper management.However whoever runs this business is doing an atrocious job, for the past 6 months I have received continuous messages that the phone service is out and delayed. That is unacceptable for a doctor’s office, I do not understand how phones are legally allowed to even be out at a doctor’s office for this amount of time. Timely communication is key to medical treatment, insurance claims, prescriptions etc.

Hardly answers the phone, never calls you back giving up dates on approvals like they say, schedule appointments that wasn’t discussed with client

This place used to be good when I was going here years ago but they do not answer the phones or have good customer service. They recently started billing under “Delaware Valley Community Health” and did not inform customers or their insurance of the new name and it is causing havoc with my Insurance company and billing. Appts that should have been covered are appearing as though I went “out of network”. Please go somewhere else that has a better system of customer service

I chose this facility because it was close to my job. Only looked up the doctors after I went the first time. I see mixed reviews on people's experience there and for the doctors as well. For me the doctors and nurses have been pleasant and they listen to what I have to say. I was given a referral to a specialist when I expressed concern about something. They don't try to rush through the visit and they usually ask about my other health (dentist, eye doctor, etc.) to check in on all health areas.It looks like they are building up their online check in services which works fine and cuts down on the check in process when you get there. Calling in still isn't the greatest but once you get a hold of someone setting up a meeting isn't a challenge. And they have started sending plenty of reminders via text (tad annoying, but appreciated since I do forget things like doc appointments ) Wait times aren't too bad if you can make an appointment before 10am. I've been about 3 times now and the experience is the same quality. I recommend since this place is clean and so far I've been treated respectfully
