TrueCare Ramona

I’ve been going to TrueCare in Ramona for just over a year now and I’ve made incredible strides in my health journey as a result. My previous Dr ignored and dismissed my symptoms and pleas for help for years. Dr Lysa Ho listened to me, validated my concerns and very quickly uncovered 2 autoimmune diseases, asthma and made the initial referral that lead to a solution to 20yrs of debilitating menses. The dental care here is very gentle. Dr Noah is a very skilled and kind chiropractor and everyone from the MAs, phlebotomist, front desk staff and nurses have been very nice, kind and caring.I’m so grateful to everyone there. Thank you for helping me. I was a mess!

I can’t understand this place I’ve been going here now for a little while when I’m going to be late I call and they act like I should have just come in I don’t call and they rescheduled my appointment And the thing of it is They didn’t even have the nerve to tell me my doctor moved out of state and that until I see them they were holding my prescriptions hostage my blood pressure medicine travel over an hour to get there.last year my mom and wife died leaving me struggling to pay the bill rent car payment and so on I help elderly people in a park I live in to make a little cash that pays for a few things gas for the car I explained that to them they made me wait 5 or 10 minutes and The doctor certain things I am not going to stop helping someone to get there exactly when they want me to just wait which they make you do anyways, I’ve never been in the doctors office or they come get me right away I mean don’t even sit down before they bring you back I will have to do some soul-searching And see if I even wanna be a patient anymore

Over the many years that I have been a patient at TrueCare, I have always left with my concerns heard and given the appropriate medical attention and care. I am always able to be seen quickly, even at times with same-day appointments. The providers I have received care from have all been caring and patient. Specifically, Dr. Ho is compassionate and attentive to the well-being of her patients. I am grateful to have TrueCare as my primary source of healthcare.

Took my nine year old foster son in for an appointment as he has not been feeling well. The nurse that called us in was grumpy from the start and was short with him from the start. He misunderstood what she asked him and walked into an exam room next to the scale and she snapped at him that she told him to stand by the wall not go in a room. Once in the exam room he was nervous and apprehensive, especially since she was so short with him before. She attempted to take his temperature and instead of telling him, stuck a probe in his ear when she thought he was not paying attention. This caused him to panic and pull away to which she replied “you are nine. I have three year old patients better behaved than you”. At this point he started crying. Then she stepped back and proclaimed that his behavior was too poor for her to deal with. At this point I stopped her and advised her that her bedside manner was atrocious and that she knows nothing of my foster sons history but should know that he has an extensive trauma background and her attitude towards him is causing him further trauma. After some more explanation from me she apologized and admitted that they were short staffed and she was tired. I told her that I felt bad she was short staffed but that was no excuse to take it out on a nine year old child. I also told her that I should not have to explain to her that my child has an extensive history of trauma in order for her compassionate side to come out. At this point with my help she was able to get the vitals she needed.

I have been trying to reach True Care Ramona by phone for 2 weeks! They neglected to tell me that a Critical Urology Consultation was deferred to another Medical group. I have been waiting over 2 months and no one ever bothered to text me or send me a message on my chart. Furthermore they could not tell me where they sent my new referral, they could not find the name of the new Dr.
