The waiting room of this hospital is the most disgusting, dirty, dangerous, money grabbing place I've been to in my life. I'd rather use a public washroom downtown Toronto. There's dirt and blood on the floors, dirty tissues in front of triage, homeless crackheads getting woke up from the parking lot and wheeled around by security, people talking about using fentenyl in the waiting room. Hookers using their phones in the hallway to set up their next customer. The washroom are dirty (toilet seats all urine splattered) floors are dirty, God knows when they've been cleaned, let alone sanitized last. In the emergency department they expect you to pay for parking, but don't have anywhere to get change (and the machine doesn't give you the difference of what you pay, like a vending machine would) and there's nowhere to get change and it only accepts cash or credit card. There is an app that you can download, if you have your phone. The 6 chairs that are located in front of the triage nurse never get cleaned or disinfected. There's homeless crackheads sitting in them, then my children are expected to sit in them. There's always police officers or peace officers in the waiting room with obvious criminals, which makes it a super safe place for my kids to be. We are tax paying citizens who contribute to society and we have to experience this sort of situation every time we come to emergency. Trust me, if I didn't have to be here, I wouldn't be. Broken bones, heart conditions and stitches are the only reasons we come here, but every time we do, it's the same horror scene. There's absolutely no reason that homeless people and crackheads should be using the local hospital as a place to stay overnight. I have had conversations with this vulnerable population and I know they request to go there because they can't refuse them service and the shelters are full of they aren't comfortable with the other crackheads in the shelters. Something needs to be done. Also the state of repair and cleanliness in the emergency waiting room is disgusting. And they have the nerve to charge us for parking.

Came here for mental health reasons and they were quick to get me in, the psych ward I stayed for about 3 to 4 weeks until I was able to get into a next treatment facility. Staff we're good, they had hospital menus for food so everyday you were able to fill out exactly what you would like for breakfast lunch and dinner without problems there was arts and crafts with other small lectures of people from the community and within the hospital that could help you on your way out of the program. Also they provided transportation to the next treatment facility if one requires it at no charge via ambulance (at least by my experience).

I went to the ER on Sept 3rd, around 8:00 PM, and it was about the shift switch time, so we waited there for about 15 minutes for the transition to happen, and the tools to be sanitized for the new shift. The reason for our visit was that my daughter fell while playing in the playground, and had blood in her mouth and on her shin, and was a bit scared. I was scared too, since she didn't let me see much and kept crying. The nurse (I sadly did not pay attention to her name at that time) who called us in was so helpful, calming, and caring and provided us with an experience that was beyond my expectations (considering how busy ER is always and how overwhelmed the staff are lately). She cleaned her up, checked everything out patiently, and guided us to the next steps. Words don't do justice to what she has done for us. I can not thank her enough. Our healthcare system may be facing some challenges, but our healthcare professionals are amazing!!!

I was in the emergency room last night and received the best care from a gentleman nurse I believe his name was Marlow. The way he spoke and his ability to insert the IV on the first attempt was astounding. I’ve been in many hospitals many times in my life and have never received the care that he offered. Thank you Marlow (if that is your name)

THIS KIND OF STRESS IS NOT GOOD FOR A PREGNANCY, NOT EVER! Angry grandma! Do you guys not realize that everything you do also effects the family's of the patients that come in there! My daughter spent all night till 3am waiting to be seen! She is in her first trimester of her pregnancy and is showing signs of complications! Staff! being of that one woman working there, completely ignorant & rude, the doctor was suposed to order an ultrasound etc that was to take place at 10am and no phone call! She called you and apparently nothing was documented and no order to get theses things done. You tell her to come back and wait again while she's already stressed out and having cramps and back pain! Recently I read that this already happened to another woman and she ended up losing her baby! you guys make me sick! do your JOB! some of the staff there needs an awakening or your just in the wrong profession, entirely! If my daughter loses her baby be prepared to meet me!!
