Tomaino Orthopaedic Care

I had surgery from another practice on my shoulder in January of 2024. Due to my own fault it got messed up and I tore the bicep and rotator cuff. I saw 3 different Ortho Doctors since. All of which bedside manor, compassion or explanation were lacking. I saw Dr. Tomaino for my shoulder today as a last stitch effort to deal with the pain. I had given up. From the moment I walked in the office, his staff is the friendliest and most welcoming. They listened and understood that accidents happen. Then I met Dr. Tomaino! What an absolutely kind and compassionate human being. He listened, he cared, he didn't judge, and he took the time to ask questions to best suit my lifestyle. He gave me a cortisone shot, and I didn't feel a thing, and lets face it, THOSE THINGS HURT! He came up with a treatment plan that suits my lifestyle. If it doesn't work, we reassess. Faith in the humanity in the medical field has been restored. On my way out of the office, each staff member tells you how lovely it was to meet you. I cannot say enough wonderful things. I injured both hands by overdoing in my yard. The office staff was extremely helpful in getting me in for an appointment. Dr Tomaino is professional, communicates the issues I was having so I understood and has a wonderful personality to work with. He recommended a cortisone shot and I refused the first visit cause I was scared but my second visit I allowed him and he has curbed my fear now cause it didn’t hurt but a pinch. I trust him to getting me back to feeling better!
