Bad customer service!! I used to like to come here whenever I get a referred by my dentist for a extraction to a different place I always decide to come here because doctor Calixto is really good and nice ..he should be aware of how the front desk girls treats his patients even on a phone call they are so rude !! . I called on August 5 2024 at 11:30 am 👎👎

The fact that you even have to give them a star.The dentist himself he is good. Very efficient.But it’s the lazy staff in there!They will call you to remind you of your appointment but then when you get there, they’ll say they didn’t receive the panels, this or that, and it was your responsibility to get it.They will also schedule an appointment and not check your insurance and then when you go, they’ll tell you That they don’t have a referral.I don’t know what those girls do there other than spin around in a chair and talk all day.My daughter had an appointment at 2 o’clock today and I had to do the legwork for them and she still didn’t get seen.Never again

They said they accepted my insurance but did not accept getting imaging which they said would be for all of the teeth. My doctor recommended to see #2 or 3 is what they said so he said I need a root canal on 4. He should’ve looked at all of my teeth. At first, he was looking for a while and said there is a tiny bit of inflammation here and I said that does not add up with the excruciating pain that I’m having. He did not like that I was asking questions that he didn’t really know how to answer. He ordered for me to have a root canal in a specific tooth but I didn’t feel like it was right. So I went with my gut and got another opinion (had to pay out of pocket for an honest, educated opinion) so anyways, all in all I paid 360$ to just get misdiagnosed and possibly would’ve lost another few thousand ON THE WRONG TOOTH if I went through with it and trusted them. I asked for some compensation and the manager was very mean and completely shut me down. So, I never do reviews but this is just so wrong in so many ways. You can’t just misdiagnose someone and take all their money and be like too bad. It’s sad because people should be able to just trust the professional. The other place I went to was so careful, so caring and did so many tests to ensure they found the problem. I truly feel bad for writing this because I don’t wish bad upon anyone but I wish to take some sort of action in standing up for what’s right instead of letting all the dentists do whatever they want, make tons of money and screw people over.

my visit was amazing, Dr. Calixto, did a root canal and post on my chipped front tooth, I felt no pain. The staff was curious and professional. I have been coming here to get my teeth taken care of for 15 or more years. So grateful, thank you Beautiful Smile Dentistry, on El Cajon blvd. I will be back for my crown soon.

Reception was friendly, professional and knowledgeable 👍🏼, dental assistance taking films and preparing me for extraction ,👍🏼she was very comforting, friendly, professional and knowledgeable-as well she was “Awesome” I felt very comforting because of her! This was my second extraction from this dr. He seems to be very knowledgeable, honestly I feel like each patient is routine for him, “Next” I’m very friendly and talkative making jokes, making extraction fun and it has been very hard to get him to respond to my jokes! In my opinion he is very serious and has no interest in wanting to get to know any of his patients. Of course he by no means has to like us. He is professional and very knowledgeable and I have no complaints on his performance and the results of his performance. Personally I like to feel comfortable and able to joke around and have fun!
